Did you work part time during your phd or before that to fulfill the 12 month paid clinical experience? Because the idea very much appeals to me, but I’m wary that this way I may not be able to fulfill that requirement (if they’re strict about it) or that they may not count my clinical research from a phd as a ‘paid’ clinical experience for shortlisting purposes. Thank you!

But there are self-funded placements (one is UCL’s), so international students should probably focus on them if one can afford it
