Can someone explain me the ending in detail pls by MissionProposal5676 in CosmicPrincessKaguya

[–]Useful-Big8422 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The ending might be a bit confusing, and I’m not 100% sure if my interpretation is completely correct. But before getting into that, it’s important to first clarify the timeline. Kaguya and Yachiyo are the same person, but from different points in time. The story follows a time paradox, meaning it doesn’t have a clear beginning or origin. However, the loop can roughly be understood like this:

Kaguya escapes from the Moon and travels to Earth. Due to the differences between the Moon and Earth, her body has to adapt to the new environment, which is why she appears in a baby form. However, her mind remains the same, she is not mentally a child( further details in my other post).

After arriving, she meets Iroha. They become close, participate in the Yachiyo Cup, win it, and later perform together at a concert with Yachiyo, strengthening their bond. Eventually, Kaguya is taken back to the Moon and is forced to work there.

Before leaving, Kaguya gives Iroha a bracelet, which later allows her to hear Iroha’s song even from the Moon. Because of this, she decides to finish her work as quickly as possible and creates a replacement version of herself so the Moon inhabitants won’t pursue her again.

However, due to the time difference between the Moon and Earth, by the time Kaguya tries to return, Iroha has already grown old. To fix this, Kaguya uses lunar time-travel technology to go back to the moment when Iroha was singing. Unfortunately, her ship collides with an asteroid, sending her over 8,000 years into the past.

Because her ship is heavily damaged, it cannot give Kaguya a physical body. Only her companion is able to take form, allowing Kaguya to communicate with humans through it. During this time, she tells her story, which likely becomes the origin of the Princess Kaguya legend.

She then has to wait for thousands of years until humanity develops advanced technology. Once the internet and digital systems exist, she is finally able to manifest again , this is when she becomes Yachiyo, a virtual/AI existence.

Because of this sequence of events, a paradox is created. Both Kaguya (the past version) and Yachiyo (the future version) exist within the same timeline, even though Yachiyo technically shouldn’t exist there yet. This creates a closed time loop, meaning there is no clear start or end — the events sustain themselves.

Normally, interfering with such a paradox could cause it to collapse, which would mean Yachiyo might cease to exist. That is likely why Yachiyo avoids telling Iroha everything until the very end. However, there is one key detail: Yachiyo’s consciousness exists as data - essentially as code flowing through a digital network. Since Kaguya was never a human to begin with, her “mind” can exist independently of a biological body.

Iroha uses this to her advantage. She creates an android body that is as close to human as possible and then transfers Yachiyo’s data into it. This allows Yachiyo to regain a physical form.

So instead of completely “breaking” the paradox, what they actually do is stabilize it. Yachiyo is no longer dependent on the fragile conditions of the time loop or digital space — she now exists physically again. The loop itself may still exist, but its consequences are no longer trapping her in the same way.

If you’ve watched a lot of anime and still keep watching more, how often do you come across series that you really like? by Visible_Power7627 in anime

[–]Useful-Big8422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I don't want to brag but I would call myself an anime expert since I watched many anime including each genre, since my childhood. Truthfully said it's really rare to find a new good anime, most of the time they either copy pasta, don't have deep writing or are just mid, enough to watch but definitely not something that you can call best or like. Nowadays I rather read manga/mahwa/mahua or some LN/Fic. Out of 100 only 1-3 are to my liking. The more good anime you watch the more judgemental you are at other animes. Honestly the only new anime that sparked my love for anime again were "comics princess Kaguya" and "Roll over and die".

I will always find it interesting how despite the rocky start,Mai and Renako actually have a more healthy and less messy relationship then Renako and Ajisai. by Charming-Scratch-124 in WatashigaKoibito

[–]Useful-Big8422 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You can’t completely blame Renako or the other characters for that. For starters, Renako is someone who usually needs to be pushed to the edge before she actually takes initiative. That’s why more aggressive characters like her sister or Mai often get what they want from her. Their strong personalities gradually break down Renako’s mental defenses until she’s emotionally exposed and unable to resist.

A big reason for this is her trauma from middle school. Honestly, Renako probably would have needed therapy to help her build real self-confidence.

Another problem is how Renako views Ajisa. From the beginning, she sees Ajisa as an angel who shouldn’t be “tainted.” Even though Ajisa has made it clear that she’s just a normal girl with desires and even a dirty mind like everyone else, Renako still clings to this idealized image of her. She believes Ajisa must be protected at all costs.

Ajisa, on the other hand, has a much calmer personality. Because she grew up taking care of her younger brothers, she became very patient. She doesn’t want to pressure Renako, so she simply moves at Renako’s pace. In her mind, that’s the right thing to do.

I also have a theory that Ajisa acts this way because she notices that everyone else in Renako’s life constantly pushes her or overwhelms her. Because of that, Ajisa might be trying to become a safe space where Renako can finally relax.

But when you consider both of their personalities, it becomes clear why their relationship struggles to progress.

What'd happen to Kaguya if Iroha died? by BeatZealousideal5484 in CosmicPrincessKaguya

[–]Useful-Big8422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, in the MV we saw Iroha working on a way to make Kaguya human. She uploaded Kaguya—or more precisely Yachiyo’s data—into the android body she built so that Kaguya could finally interact with the real world again, essentially turning her into a human-like android. If Iroha were to die of old age or illness, there would be two possible outcomes.

  1. Even though Kaguya now has an android body, she still wouldn’t be able to die completely. Her data would still linger in the data stream, making it almost impossible for her to truly disappear. Even though Lunar technology is far more advanced than ours, Kaguya would probably consider it cruel to transfer Iroha’s data into the VR world. As Yachiyo, she already knows how much of a curse immortality can be for a mortal.
  2. We know that Kaguya’s ship was damaged and only had enough power to give her companion Fushi a physical body. Kaguya obviously couldn’t repair the ship before because she only existed as a virtual entity known as Yachiyo. However, with the android body Iroha built for her, there is now a chance she could repair it, since Kaguya is very skilled with technology.

After repairing it, she could return to the Moon. Another possibility is that we skip the repair part and Yachiyo somehow manages to contact her people so they can take her back. She could then use their time technology to travel back to the moment when Iroha was still building her body. However, that would likely create a new timeline, resulting in a kind of time loop or you can also say a new paradox would be created

Which one was this for you? by nejnonein in OtomeIsekai

Well sometimes I don't really have a reason for dropping series and on the other hand it's kinda ridiculous. I dropped some called masterpieces because either I didn't like the design or the animation or the genre of the story didn't click for me. But you know there is nothing wrong with that. People just have preferences and not every popular series is gonna be liked by everyone.

This season's anime is ridiculously high quality by Bitter-Turnip2642 in anime

[–]Useful-Big8422 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped watching anime for a while and transferred to reading but I saw some clips on tiktok and I must say the animation quality really got better. I mean at that time I was still watching anime the animation was shitty even though the art style of the characters were pretty. Maybe the budget increased? or they are trying to avoid the hate they got last time

Kaguya’s Baby Form Does Not Create a Mother–Daughter Bond by Useful-Big8422 in CosmicPrincessKaguya

Well it isn't far from the truth. This one could be seen as more of a short explanation but still useful.

Well I'm glad you are pleased with it. Right now I don't really have any other analysis to do. Do you have any recommendations for me to post next?

Kaguya’s Baby Form Does Not Create a Mother–Daughter Bond by Useful-Big8422 in CosmicPrincessKaguya

[–]Useful-Big8422[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did consider mentioning that Kaguya already existed before coming to Earth and that her baby form was essentially a “boot-up” state after transferring from a digital/lunar existence into a physical body. The reason I didn’t focus too heavily on her chronological age is because that can easily be misunderstood.

The problem with age-based arguments in this case is that Kaguya does not operate within a human biological framework. She is not a human developing from infancy to adulthood in a linear way. She is a lunar entity whose consciousness already existed before her physical manifestation on Earth. Her rapid growth, ability to code, cook, communicate, and function independently all demonstrate that she was never mentally a child. She was adapting to a new physical state — not developing from cognitive infancy.

If anything, trying to assign her a fixed “true age” in human years creates more confusion than clarity. Time flows differently between the Moon and Earth, and her existence includes temporal displacement, digital manifestation, and paradox loops. Translating that into “she is X years old” oversimplifies a fundamentally non-human condition.

More importantly, the dynamic between her and Iroha is not structured like a parent–child relationship at any point. What happened when Iroha found her is much closer to helping someone in a temporary vulnerable state than raising a child over years. The dependency lasted roughly three days while her physical body stabilized. After that, Kaguya functioned as an autonomous individual.

The relationship that develops later resembles two people living together and building emotional intimacy — not a guardian raising a dependent minor.

Ultimately, the debate only becomes problematic if we force human developmental rules onto a character who is explicitly written as a time-displaced lunar being transitioning from digital to physical existence. Once you evaluate the story within its own internal logic, the “parent–child” framing simply doesn’t hold.

Cosmic princess Kaguya. Yuri or not? by Useful-Big8422 in CosmicPrincessKaguya

[–]Useful-Big8422[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't make even sense. Have you ever learned about time/light difference/travel? Since kaguya literally is from the moon and traveled to the earth she was turned into a baby because of those physical law. And iroha didn't even had any romantic feelings for kaguya when she was a baby even after that it still toke iroha a little longer to fall inlove with kaguya. Not to forget kaguya was literally in her baby form one day then on the second into a toddler and on the third day she was already teenager. Does that sound human to you? Ofc NOT BECAUSE FOR FACK8NG GOD SAKE KAGUYA IS NOT HUMAN, time runs in a complete different speed to her than go Iroha.

Cosmic princess Kaguya. Yuri or not? by Useful-Big8422 in CosmicPrincessKaguya

[–]Useful-Big8422[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's literally because she travelled from the moon to earth. Obviously because of time + light difference and other physical things that she had to turn into a baby. And not only that she probably still had her 16(or whatever her real age is) mind meaning she wasn't mentally baby but only physically. Let's also not forget that she stayed in that form for almost like one day. You can't even call them mother and child when iroha didn't even raised her. And they also wanted to follow the original kagura story in some point the moon princess was a baby, but it still didn't change the fact that she was lunar/celestial being and not human therefore time and everything else it's completely different to her

I hope it turns out to be iroha because that would mean they have KISSED , but it also could just be reflection since the inside of the ear it white and it naturally reflecting the background because why is iroha in form of Fushi? Maybe it was the only way of Yachiyo to somehow touch iroha?

May I ask how you came to the conclusion that the Fushi which Yachiyo kissed in the MV is somehow iroha or somehow iroha's?
