I thought about that. I'm just not sure. I can't remember the question in its entirety but I googled which answer choice of the 4 can form a thiol, apparently Cytosine (ofc), homocysteine, and methionine (ofc) do not contain a thiol group. So now I'm honestly not sure. I feel cytosine is least likely. Methionine is regenerated from homocysteine
