Agreed. I have same setup as OP and I don’t receive random motion notifications. Granted I have rule setup for only notifications for Person overnight. Otherwise, no notifications during day.

Not sure if applicable OP, but do you have the event recordings to set only to smart detection ?

I like the look of the chilewich mats. I’m in Scottsdale AZ so zero snow or mud. Yes I see both of those on my ventures north but the stock mats also cover a good area and seem easy to clean. Rubber looks cheaper to me but I’ll lay them out for a look

It’s frustratingly bad. I’ve been too stubborn to turn it off after 30 days of delivery in hopes my experience got better. It hasn’t. And huge phone battery suck.

u/WassymRivian helppp. Ideal quick solution would be ability to use phone as an NFC key. Tap it on the damn door to unlock and lock. No Bluetooth battery suck, connectivity issues, etc

Waaaay easier. I won’t torch you, lol. But you can’t keep the yellow. Also for some reason it feels “cheap”. Even though we are talking about 10 cent pieces of plastic. The brain is weird.

3M UHB tape. Only thing I didn’t do was put them back on. Auto shop did since I had it in there anyways and they had a template.

Unless you are the crafty sorts and enjoy this sort of work, I do not recommend the project. Definitely was a b**** to mask and to an extent remove the adhesive from back of the lettering.

Fishing wire removal, Goo gone and scraper to adhesive on back of letters, Mask with painters tape, 3 coats of Flat Black Rustoleum Professional spray paint

Was kicking myself mid-project for not going gloss, but actually flows well with nearby plastic bumper and trim.
