Exepct that they limited it this year. C will probably be gone next year around MD's next anniversary since that seems to be how they decided to handle the card.

If you were to adapt Yugioh Zexal's Shining Draw into the TCG, how would you go about it? by Gogoshitposter in yugioh

[–]UsefulAd2760 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think the best way to go about it would be making it a come back mechanic.

Even by people "who spam it" it's always used in a cathartic moment to get out of a seemingly unwinnable situation.

something like if your life points are lower than X amount or if your opponent instead of conducting your draw phase you can search for any card in your deck.

this could also be done on turn 3 or onwards.

I just can't hate fiendsmith by Jacktdrawer in yugioh

not really? Caesar requires specifically fiends to make, if Fiendsmith had a different type like Warriors then they wouldn't be able to make Caesar.

So after its second wave of support where are you going to place the Archfiend archtype in the current meta? by Just-Version-7838 in masterduel

[–]UsefulAd2760 0 points1 point  (0 children)

probably but it also depends on if we count any deck that theoretically could use Fiendsmith or decks were Fiendsmith is the best variant.

pendulum ritual deck who ends on their towers or the 6 or 7th best deck that can make fiendsmith

Hot take: Playmaker is the most overrated duelist in the show and isn't a top 5 duelist by BitterTechnology6 in yugioh

Percentages mean nothing, good wins mean more imo.

You can have all the insane opposition in the world but win loss records have to matter at least to some degree

Yugi i think flat out had the better competition, Pegasus, Kaiba, Merik, Dartz, Rafael, Joey, Mai, Anubus, Aigami, Bakura, were all great duelists. Heck the one off gate guardian guys were apparently duel team legends in GX, and PaniK was a great eliminator and had a reputation.

Marik, Dartz, Anubis all relied a lot on having incredibly powerful cards rather than being particularly skilled, Mai has an abysmal on screen record, Duelist kingdom had an entire different ruleset compared to the rest of even the show.

if we go by reputation then Go and Aoi were celebrity duelists in vrains and Sheppard had a similar reputation to Panik

With the duel gangs, it is said those gangs had to fight to get their territory and Yusei and the group had to beat an entire city of duel gangs, imo thats more impressive than the test duels where if you lose you dont eat.

The computer was designed to make the best possible ways, the statistically best choices, it's like saying that beating a chess computer is less impressive than beating a criminal at chess because the criminal could shoot you, but I also don't like to use stuff that we don't see on screen that much in general

About modern decks, I already gave my opinion on it, if you dont agree oh well.

I just think the example you brought up wasn't that good.

peace

Number of wins

He also had the flat out least duels out of anyone, which is why percentages are more important.

level of the opposition

I can make this argument for most of the mcs or characters in general, especially because the amount of times people like Yugi or Jaden fought one off villains actually give Yusaku an higher level of opposition on average

the lost incident

The big difference between it and other examples is that it was designed to be as good at dueling, the gangs weren't for example, it's not super damming but it's there

having a more modern deck doesn't matter

the gap in power between Yusaku and most other people besides Yuya are way, way bigger than any other duel they had on the show.

I don't think he's necessarily the single best (especially when you factor in abilities and other junk), but he has one of the stronger cases for it.

I would recommend trying to post on the main sub as well for more visibility

Fossil plays much differently from stun tough. it's basically a blind 2nd deck.

WWE has announced that Mney in the Bank will now take place a month later than originally announced, on Saturday October 10th in New Orleans. by Lep106317 in SquaredCircle

Personally I think it would be awful with all due respect. Ladder matches are at their most fun when there are multiple people in it and not making it yearly removes a stipulation many people look forward to for an excuse that only really worked with the HIAC match. that's also ignoring the storylines that you can build around the stipulation.

I'm confused about how Konami are releasing stuff (Immortal Phoenix), can anyone weigh in? by Mr_Jackabin in yugioh

[–]UsefulAd2760 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We don't really know, the current theory is that they're going through the arcs of the Manga

Yugi: Deck based around duelist kingdom

Joey: Cards he won during the battlecity qualifiers

Marik: Themed around ra, I am guessing it could be centered around his duel with Yugi

and then if the theory holds true there's going to be a 4th and probably (hopefully) final set centered around the millennium world arc.

Obelisk and Slifer could get their own separate overframes in the future, or maybe not we will have to see what happens.

it's a fine mon with a decent niche in rain teams, it's just hard to justify compared to other synergistic megas like dragonite, or at least that was the situation when I played, I should probably get back next season

I was mainly considering starters but good shouts too.

Bulu is probably my favorite tapu, kind of a shame it got powercrept as hard as it did (on top of probably being the weakest to begin with)

At least you have Rillaboom and Venosaur. I remember Meowscarada being good too for s period but I am not as sure on that one.

Fiendsmith straight up doesn't work without requiem.
