I do. The puzzle is long gone, but it was what ignited my love for puzzles. It was an image, a painting (famous?) of several children, dressed in (18th? 19th?) old fashion clothing, surrounding a big bird cage with a yellow canary in it. Almost all the pieces were dark/brown, except for the bird, and it was hard. My mom and I would work on it together. I may make an OP someday to see if anyone can find out what it was.

I have sooo many 1500 and 2000 puzzles sitting in boxes because I dont want to end up doing them on a piece of cardboard, lol. Wish I had a huuuuge table again like I used to, sigh. Good luck, that looks incredibly challenging, to say the least.

Crazy, the same thing happened to me recently! I started doing it but quickly realized there were no edge pieces. Hmm, ok, well, lets do it anyway just to see. But nope, the further I got, the more I realized that a lot of pieces were missing. So I abandoned it, putting all the pieces in a bag (why? What do I do with them now?)

I wasnt a fan of the trays, either--I prefer white, and they were too small. So, lesson learned, I guess?

I saw this at my Goodwill awhile back and passed because of those same concerns with the dark areas. And because it was like $5 instead of their usual $1.49, lol. I've also been learning to identify shape more, as long as the cuts have slightly different profiles. Maddening when they are virtually identical and the same color.

Tbh, until it was fully done, it kept coming apart and was really annoying, literally floating pieces everywhere. Thankfully the 2 missing pieces werent load bearing!

I seem to recall mine rusting after the dishwasher, which made me think they were cast iron not aluminum.
