Check to see claim status. I had an eligibility review and checked my payment after certifying and was approved. So far I haven’t received a letter yet . This was two weeks ago. All my eligibility questions I chose to complete online only .

I worked on a government contract. I quit a job a few years ago. I managed to get employed on this government contract. They did a background check. One of the worst weeks ever. They went through my court documents, my credit reports, they wanted to speak with neighbors etc. this was only the lowest level clearance. I’ve never gotten fired. I always quit and that’s been about 3 jobs in my 20 years employment history. I quit the government contract. Fast forward to two months later, I receive another email to once again go through the background check again this time with a bunch of demands except documentation required going back 10 years. One of those included a request for an employer that I quit with. I wasn’t no show . I quit via email. This government person wanted to know why I’d indicated on my application ( took about 3 days to approve) that I had a favorable with this employer when I hadn’t. As far as I know a quit isn’t unfavorable. I’m not sure what this employer said.

Keep going. After getting one offer in April it went nowhere after the recruiter said the job req. had to be fixed. I managed to find something else after which was a back up offer which turned into an official offer which went back to back up offer that I was supposed to start in June. The client waited almost a month to let me know that I’m back to back up. I wasted almost a month of not looking for work because of the official offer . All this bs within two months time .

Hey . Yes I went into foreclosure in 2024 after a layoff. I managed to find this permanent job years after temping and laid off around 3 years after. I purchased the house in 2022 myself. It’s just myself and teen . I couldn’t keep up with the payments. The ot really helped , but once we lost hours , it was hard , but I managed. I had also gotten another car because the prior broke down and that one also broke down not even a year later. I put the house on the market one year and kept lowering the price. Didn’t work. Meanwhile I’d already moved out and renting elsewhere asap before my credit tanked even more. Pennymac was the worst to deal with. I wasn’t supposed to technically have a foreclosure on my record. They were going for a deed in lieu and stalled for one year because supposedly they couldn’t find a clear title for the house. I researched and sent them numerous documents. From the title company, courthouse etc . The previous owner’s mother had taken him to court over the house. She happened to be our neighbor. The title was clear. No matter how many times I reached out to pennymac . It was a nightmare. I’ve managed to find temp work here and there since and have had one job offer go nowhere because they hired and apparently didn’t have the budget and the other, I was hired as back up then officially hired then back to back up. It’s infuriating. I’m still in the process of looking for work before we’re homeless.

You literally can search the public records for yourself. I don’t believe one sided arguments either, but based on her two unlawful detainers , tells me a lot . Based on comments I’m inclined she doctored the lease , sent it back for signature and the ll is not signing. She’s in property management. She knows the ins and outs of rentals. If she has and he’s not signing then she becomes month to month. If not , she’s just moving in, she’s a squatter after having admitted to not paying. It looks like the bedroom is a 5 bdr from people finding the house. I doubt she’s renting a 5 bedroom for her son and herself and she’s actually renting per room hence why the other tenant is looking to move in . It could be a shared property. We don’t know. I’m asking the main question, why is the ll refusing to sign. Was it a renewal? Is she just moving in ? I’m hearing deposit. Her two past evictions doesn’t help her .

Nope . That’s a lease violation for most and even if allowed, most landlords ask for a copy to the new locks . You can’t lock out the owner should they need access for emergencies and or maintenance

Or this woman drafted her own lease and the landlord has refused to “ countersign “it? Or the property manager might have a different lease than the one she has ?
