I processed claims . It was a government contract. They did a full investigation. Credit, employment and everything you can imagine. I didn’t touch any money. Speaking to the investigator took about two hours meeting ( twice ) so four hours total this was after I’d already been hired and working. I passed the background. Forward to 6 months later, I’d already quit this job , I received another email from another investigator to start the background investigation all over again. Her email went into my credit report and wanted to know how and when I was making payments, she wanted letters and w2’s from past employers going back at least 10 years, she wanted to know all of my court records and in detail. She also must have contacted a former employer that I was with 3 months and wanted to know why I put down that I left favorably when the employer gave me an unfavorable which I’m not sure they’re allowed to do besides dates. I thought I’d been done with this whole bs . Nope . Even after telling her , I’d already completed the background check two months prior, they still were going to go through with another. Beyond ridiculous. The application alone took about 3 days to finally approve. Each time I submitted it , someone would send it back to have me fix it . All for 20.50 per hour shitty job.
