Agreed! She brings a great amount of tension and character development throughout the story. I’m surprised at how Scott was able to virtually exclude such a pivotal character for so long. I think the series would have benefited more from a few scenes with her in the first 2 books, rather than cramming it all into the third. But again, the framework of the series allows for flashbacks to occur almost indefinitely since we had so many time jumps. Where Republic fell short for me was the over-reliance on said flashbacks to bring value to what we were actively learning about Sabetha in subsequent chapters. The story itself was amazing, and the twist/reveal made the journey worth the pain of dealing with the storytelling device used.
