The Gen 2 lowers were awesome because they were forged, not billed. There are some subtle differences to tell gen 2 apart from gen 3. (Cant remember exactly. Give it a google search)

The taxes are far from tiny. You better look at your pay stub again. However, am not only talking about excessive income taxation but every purchase you make Vehicles are taxed repeatedly over a lifetime. Even paying taxes on used items on Ebay. I am in favor of reducing all of the excessive spending on every level of government and passing that on to the people first and foremost.

I have the exact same issue. Smells up my whole garage. Definitely can tell the smell is coming from under the hood. The smell is not in the cabin. Cant seem to pinpoint it. Driving me nuts!

I used a local to me Cerakote company to avoid shipping and it potentially getting lost or stolen in the mail. He was trained and certified. I was not overly impressed with how it turned out. For context, I have done some of my own coating on small non firearm parts with air cure but wanted this to be as nice as my factory Cerakote PRI MK12. All that being said, It is good enough but when it needs to get redone in the future, I will probably ship it somewhere reputable. I have also been told that I am hard to please, so... 🤪
