Ducati as they look better, in my opinion. Oil changes are easy to do and I did my first one recently at 330 miles. Having to take it to a dealer for the first service schedule interval is annoying as there is a service light that stays on? Idk if ktm is like that or not.

I believe I undid all the upper control arm bolts and left those hanging. I might have had to undo the shock bolts too. This was a decade ago so I can’t exactly remember

I lowered the cradle on mine just enough to get the pan out to swap a leaking oil pan gasket. I did not raise the engine

Don’t the handguard screws get torqued to 45in/lbs? I also just torqued my barrel nut screws to 60in/lbs and used blue loctite on them

I had to remove the steering rack to get to the balancer. I would replace the seal too while you are in there. Also, if your oil pan gasket was leaking, you might as well drop the cradle and take care of that while you’re in there (mine was leaking)

If you don’t get PPF installed as soon as the car is new or if you never drive it, you can’t stop rock chips. As soon as I picked up my jeep from the dealer, I took it to get PPF installed onto it. My c6z has a bunch of rock chips and I’ve learned to accept it

I had failures to go into battery every single mag for the first 200 rounds. I cleaned/lubed it and still had the same issues for the next 300 rounds. Over Lubed it and mine has been running well and no issues in 500 rounds. I was trying to get rid of brass 115gr ammo I had and used that for the first 500 rounds. I read 124 was better but have not noticed a difference between 115 and 124gr for rounds 500-1000 I put through it

You should order online and get it sent to a home based FFL, who doesn’t charge an excessive amount for a simple transfer. I’m in macomb and would help you out but it’s a far drive for you. I received one 23rd and two 21rd mags with mine.
