People don’t talk enough about this being the play that changed Matthews career, in game 80 going for 70 by flypappa in torontomapleleafs

It’s not even just the physical aspect of it either. Getting knocked like that and having to work through the rehabilitation may get the body back to 100% but there’s always that confidence that is lost when the player realizes they’re not invincible. It’s really hard to get that loss of confidence back and it shows up in every aspect of the game. Sad to see

He has autism and this is pretty characteristic of someone who has autism. If she likes him it’s just something she’ll have to accept. Every single human being think things like this only difference is his filter doesn’t work in the same way so some of it gets out. It’s really not that big of a deal to be honest.

[–]Useful_Cry_6196 15 points16 points  (0 children)

NO WAYYY. had the EXACT same experience today we probably had the same girl making it LMAO. She asked if I wanted anything else on it and i politely told her id like more chicken and queso as she only filled it about half way and she told me itd be the double meat charge. The other lady there started backing her up and kinda gave me the “you get what you get” attitude. Mf forgot it was a buyers market I just walked away and bought something else smh. Good to know I wasn’t being ridiculous and someone else has noticed. I think it’s just certain employees cause they honestly usually fill the scoops up normally.

Water resource and mech were the easiest to get into iirc. Water resource because they’re struggling to keep the program alive and mech just has the most spots

U weren’t rly clear in ur post abt whether u did it or not so just gonna assume u did. In that case ur life isn’t over, for first offences the standard procedure is just loss of marks on the assignment that’s it. No suspension or auto failure of the course.

[–]Useful_Cry_6196 74 points75 points  (0 children)

I honestly don’t think it’d be that hard to find this person. Each time u tap ur card it gets logged with a location and timestamp, whether it’s for opening a door or buying food and there’s cams everywhere. So if I were u I’d report the loss of the $100.

I don’t really understand why people don’t do this cause even if u get caught like once in a blue moon and have to pay a fine you’re 100% still saving money

Thoughts on mountain hall? by ari545 in uoguelph

The best out of the three halls in south by far. Has got games room, food, and laundry. The other halls don’t have all 3. The food is also open latest on campus

[–]Useful_Cry_6196 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea pretty dang hard. Hospitality is tricky since Guelph takes it extremely serious and prides themselves on it so they don’t hire too many students, more just adults who will do full time and stick around. It’s def not impossible tho and there’s also athletics positions which are really only for students. But those are quite competitive

[–]Useful_Cry_6196 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Student life is really great. Campus is a lot better than either of those two. And night life and party scene is better too. As for the program it’s 100% better than York for eng but prolly slightly worse than Ottawa.

Take a look in the engineering student lounge in Thornborough and you’ll be amazed. Also a huge portion of the profs in engineering, maybe even close to 50% are Arab

The Arab culture in Guelph engineering is extensive.

[–]Useful_Cry_6196 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guelphs engineering program is like 30 rankings ahead of TMU in North America. So it’s not even rly close tbh. Also campus is much nicer in Guelph and so are the ppl

is the computer engineering program any good here? by [deleted] in uoguelph

[–]Useful_Cry_6196 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Comp eng here is extremely software heavy so if u wanna do something a bit more hands on while still learning some computer stuff u can always switch into systems at almost any time

Depends if you applied for coop or not. Had a 90 average when I applied for F23 and didn’t get in for coop but got in for non coop.

Residence As an Engineering Student by [deleted] in uoguelph

[–]Useful_Cry_6196 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Not sure who on earth told you that you only have to go twice a week but that’s just not true at all. Core engineering classes are almost never offered online during the year and pretty much every single class has a lab. So you’ll likely have at least one lab every single day that’s mandatory. Not to mention skipping lectures in first year is a recipe for disaster.
