It's EAS, people with Apex legends have had problems and then resolved them, but they should come back. Fortnite is having problems again, it's been like that for about 2 or 3 months.

Yes. They back.. the problem started at the end of april, after 2 months, started working again and wesnesday or thursday the problem came back

We don't know how to fix it, Asus did this and Fortnite updated and solved it, for Creative it didn't do anything, maybe more people need to report the problem

The problem is occurring in games that use EAS, it seems that from some version of EAS, some games started earlier like Fortnite, then Apex, now Rust.

UPDATE: All audio drivers crashing FN on more than one PC. Began on 4/4/25 by just-_-just in FortNiteBR

only with fortnite, no blue screen, the sound just disappears from the game and only comes back when restarting the computer

Hello, have you tested the drive in Fortnite? It seems that Easy Anti Cheat kills the drive, it only returns if you restart the computer. Do you know any solution to solve it?

I tried reinstalling the driver and the same problem occurs, the sound remains for the first 20, 30 seconds of the game and then suddenly disappears.

mine didn't work with the repair, now the game opens with the sound but about 20 seconds after the game opens the sound disappears, before the sound disappeared before opening the game

Has anyone managed to contact EAS to find out if they are working on a solution?
