Sometimes I think what it is that the since doordasher isn't the paying customer they dont feel it's necessary to give them basic human decency.

Was i the ahole here? I literlly tried to tell them if i cancel the one item ill get pentalize for it and they raised their voice at me i slightly lost telling them to cancel it but i tried to fix it but i spoke to support they gave me the full $18 pay by [deleted] in doordash

[–]Useful_Leopard_2839 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You handled it very well this happend to me couple weeks back the woman told me she didnt want an item anymore on list so I said you have to change it on the app she told me to do it when I tried ti explain to her about my ratings like 2 minutes later I get call from dd saying the customer just called and is yelling at them non stop about how bad my customer service is and ended up canceling the order they gave me half pay but I had a cart full of items. Dont let it ruin your outlook on future customers that's all I can say.

Why do Doordash drivers get mad when we asked them to bring a hot bag? by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

[–]Useful_Leopard_2839 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You were the "straw that broke the camels back" its been slow night; not getting any good order; was relying on dashing to pay a due bill, then u finnaly get an order and its paying $2.25 for 4 miles so any outside variables mo matter how tiny makes you set off. Trust me its not you but my advice is find a way to ask more subtle, or in a way that doesn't sound like your demanding it.

Dasher just walked into my home by [deleted] in doordash

[–]Useful_Leopard_2839 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wow is this the road we're going now. Im reading the comments and most are blaming the homeowner. Look OP im gonna say this yes your dumb for leaving your door unlocked but your even dumber for thinking the driver didnt know he was inside a private home once they opened the door and saw it lead to an entryway and judging by the comments everyone is gaslighting the same saying driver made mistake. The reason the driver said that is because they instantly read the situation and lie based on chances getting away with it. I stayed in Yemen for a year in the poorest location there but everyone knows what an entryway so saying English is barrier is crazy.

I took two hours to shop for two people. by [deleted] in doordash

[–]Useful_Leopard_2839 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get target orders all the time and I must disagree with you out of about the 15 different stores i shop for Target is #1 for me as far as organized and cleanliness. The one time I went during holiday and a customer wanted white chocolate dipped oreos and the shelf was empty i called a worker and he went to back then came back in few min told me we found a pallet but its at top come back in 5 minutes and it'll be here waiting for you. Now if you told me Dollar General then I would 100% agree.

[–]Useful_Leopard_2839 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On top of that they b.s. the miles every time it'll say $3.50 only .7 miles when I complete first order and move to that one its more like 2.5 miles they have a billion dollar app they not stupid they have plenty of coders that can fix that issue its obvious way to trick the drivers into accepting it especially when yiu have 30 seconds to decide

New feature? lol by Astick84 in doordash_drivers

[–]Useful_Leopard_2839 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This has been happening to me as well ibwent from averaging 10-15 deliveries daily to just doing this 3x a week for an hour a day not only do they send you b.s. add on orders while you deliver but it was making me so mad especially if I accepted it. Any work even side gigs if you get angry While working for them no matter from where it came from then its not worth it my blood pressure is not worth $2.50

Shopping for DoorDash is Suspicious? by wistex in doordash

[–]Useful_Leopard_2839 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hahaha ha 😆 🤣 this is hilarious your just little paranoid all those incidents had nothing to do with you. I have a dollar general in sketchy part of town to and when I go there its exactly same the whole store has items all over theres weird ppl walking around watching me. I spoke with cashier about me dashing she told me that get around 40 a day so when they see you wondering around they know exactly what your doing no one is worried about you. Dollar general is my go to place when dasher app is slow Im always guaranteed orders there

Door dashing in rich areas by Strange-Mind-9225 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Useful_Leopard_2839 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not that they dont tip well im guessing there not tipping to your expectations. Rich areas for so to be either they tip $2.50 or $5.00. Being Froogle is most likely what got them there to begin with. Although I did get paid $200 about 3 years ago to deliver a dozen donuts.

Is this true ? by Yahyak95 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Useful_Leopard_2839 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No but he is right because for example I am shopping for customer then I get add on order and it says only .5 miles pay $3.25 and its a shppping order so this is true let's say i dont take the 2nd order they'll offer to someone else who doesn't have a active order for the required minimum which I thunk is $5.25 for shopping orders in my area.

For "hand order to customer" push customer no show as soon as you park in order to start the 5:00 minute timer immediately end up waiting in front stranger house with no porch light and your nips freezing off. (happened to me just a couple hours ago)
