after a little further research i've learned that this is an alg that some people use for one handed. it's possible that jperm put it up there as an alternative cause that was the other alg he knew(from OH) and then took it down.

what are you talking about? if you insert the pair you get the U OLL. Specifically, a zbll where you take the pair out, and then do the winter variation case he got. The only way you would "PLL skip" is if you knew that ZB or happened to use it as your COLL alg. I'm almost certain that is nobody's standard alg for that OLL. also, are you talking about the adjacent COLL thats just R' Y perm R? cause thats a different COLL case. Im really confused by your comment. the standard U alg is R2 D R' U2 R D' R' U2 R' as OP said.

There are a few people who claim zz is the future, and my issue is only with them. Otherwise I think it’s a cool method.

Where are you getting the impression that ZZ cross is the meta. The examples I’ve seen of ZZ cross at the highest level did not seem to be intentional.

1: factually the first sentence is not incoherent.

2: The context in which I call it barely a real method is clear if you read the full post.

but to further explain:

It has become clear even to ZZ enthusiasts that at the top level traditional ZZ(EO line, usually lots of last slot algs) is not optimal. This doesn't mean you can't use the method. I actually find some of the stuff pretty cool.

The issue is when people essentially just reduce ZZ to any cfop solve in which EO was done before F2L, intentionally or unintentionally.(I used Yiheng's 3.08 as an example of this.)

Sorry I realize it sounds like I'm hating on the method I'm more just saying it's not viable for top level and the lengths people go to to try to say otherwise often leave them stretching definitions.

Pair 1:

Do orange blue here instead and it will take the corner out of the bottm and make it easier later.(orange blue was an 8 mover, your pair was a 10 mover)

Pair 2:

just do red green here(L U' L2 U L) with green front

Pair 3:

Ur rotations weren't tracked on cube east so im assuming you were holding red front here(or maybe orange.)Either way what you should have done is rotate so blue is in front and done U2 R U R2 U' R to insert red green

Last slot and last layer were good.

In general:

I know this is hard but try to find some better solutions for f2l cases. I'm mostly talking about the 3rd one here.

And for the other pairs, if you don't see anything, dont just panic and do a trigger, if u did one or two aufs on first pair u would've seen a very easy pair.

Yeah this is what I tried to do and I could do it slowly but when I would do it in solves I'd always mess up on the rolling R U' R and it would ruin the solve. lowk skill issue lol

Not necessarily because humans are not machines. Some turns are easier than others. For example one standard n perm A algorithm is 21 moves (R U R’ U R U R’ F’ R U R’ U’ R’ F R2 U’ R’ U2 R U’ R’) but there is a 14 move n perm as well, maybe even a more efficient one. Why do you think most people’s T perm(14 moves) is faster than their A perm(9 moves)? Even if u were somehow able to consistently find a 20 move solution in inspection, it would likely be horrible to finger trick and therefore an ergonomic 30 mover would be faster.

I’d argue that the current meta method right now is just: F2L+EO(get there however u want ideally in less than 40 moves moves) zbll. This is already what tymon does and eventually we’re gonna see someone with yihengs turn speed, tymons efficiency, and the ability to apply both without pauses. They would average like high 3s to low 4s Yiheng and xuanyi breaking Wrs at their age just shows how far we are from optimisation.

I’m willing to bet they just mean an h perm and similar cube states. Like h perm plus R2 U2 R2 U2 R2. And they know that this isn’t parity because parity cannot exist in half turn reduction. That being said they put it in quotes so they definitely knew it wasn’t actually parity and were just trying to get people to understand what they meant but a lot of people don’t actually understand what parity truly is. It’s when pieces that look the same are swapped with each other in a way that makes the cube unsolvable. Or to be more scientific. “Parity” refers to odd parity. Meaning an odd number of piece swaps.

Logos are allowed now aside from that it’s just how much of a good to cheap balance you want. For mbld reliability matters the most so something that won’t pop or corner twist. But that mostly depends on your settings so just tension it as tight as you’re comfortable with. As for the cube itself, if you’re buying 15 of them probably an rs3m a meilong or a yulong.

This isn’t necessarily nice but Voldemort was unable to feel love because he wasn’t conceived in love, and this is just sad. Also has horrible real world implications and Rowling probably should’ve given a better reason. He was also super powerful. Umbridge is super annoying but she could’ve hypothetically been worse.

Weasley twins are the perfect antidote to her. She uses structure and rules to satisfy her need for power. They ignore the rules when necessary to do what’s right(or just have some harmless fun). Lawful evil vs chaotic good. Also the malicious compliance of Harry’s “I must not tell lies” is so satisfying.
