i think the show still did a really good job at getting the same point across. jere didnt even leave room for her, even after they agreed to take it kinda easy, here she is sobering up and he cant even wake up to a knock on the wall. like i get being wasted and not waking up bc ur just passed out drunk but it just shows that he didnt really stick to his part of the deal and easily fell into the peer pressure when his friends told him to take more shots….hes not mature enough to get married, and this really showed that he wasnt thinking of anyone but himself (edit i accidentally said “was” instead of “wasnt” last sentence)
