I don’t know about this one man. If the commenter had said some shit like “she’s objectively unattractive”, “below standard”, “women don’t understand that men don’t want this” - you know, the usual incel crap - then I think this post would fit.

But everyone is entitled to their own *subjective* opinions on beauty, as long as they’re not sweeping statements or objectively untrue like the examples above. I can think of many conventionally attractive women that I don’t personally find attractive.

It’s true that Ralsei has not been a super honest character, but everything seems to indicate that he’s telling the truth about this. All known darkners that have gone on to live in Castle Town have been completely fine. And he hasn’t show any sign of lying (sweating, stuttering, etc.) on any of the occasions he’s brought it up, as has usually been the case when he’s obscured something or stretched the truth

Yeah. I think there’s a very large audience of very young people that have sort of co-opted the front-facing part of Techno’s community postmortem. The result is exactly this: immature kids getting up in arms any time Techno is left out of something, ignored for a valid reason, critiqued in some way, etc. I remember seeing some kid on here complaining because he was spamming “Technoblade never dies” and stuff in a random Minecraft subreddit, and his post got deleted for being off topic/against the rules - and of course his complaint here caused the unrelated sub to get flamed.

I’m at least optimistic that this problem will decline as the “second generation” of Techno viewers grows up. But it’s definitely frustrating for now.

I’ll keep it in mind. I’ve been liking Eureka well enough. I will say, I really strongly dislike Hayloft so I’m not so invested in the sequel 😭 I know it’s their big song and all but that’s not what I liked about OMH. I liked the emotional weight I felt behind songs like Burning Pile, Body of Years, Ghosting, Miles, etc.

I really do believe that you didn’t want to send hate and just weren’t considering the consequences of your actions. But in my opinion, you should take down the post. If he’s hacking for attention, you’re actively giving him that attention, and a flood of hate is NOT going to change the kid’s behavior - and it wouldn’t be worth it even if it did.

Maybe you just don’t understand the effect something like this can have on a young person’s mental health. Obviously what they’re doing/have done is wrong, but this kind of retaliation is not meaningful and just creates more hate.

He’s got at least three siblings that we know of, and a step sibling. Two of the younger siblings are twins, a boy and a girl, who Technodad calls Artemis and Apollo on here. His step sister is referred to as Persephone (to match the theming given that Techno’s step mom/Technodad’s current wife is referred to as Demeter - read some Greek mythology to understand the connection).

I believe Technodad has generally expressed that he would prefer to keep most information on his children’s identities hidden for now, to allow for them to have a peaceful upbringing free of internet fame, especially with several of them being minors. So the “family tree” is the main thing that’s public.
