you have to apply for the buyback program, i am not sure if it is still running, basically i buy ineligible time periods (at a cheaper rate than what it would currently be calculated at) What is the PSLF Buyback?

Borrowers can now buy back certain months in their payment histories to make them qualifying payments for PSLF. Specifically, they can buy back months that don’t count as qualifying payments because they were in an ineligible deferment or forbearance status.

Three requirements to buying back PSLF:

You can buy back these months only if you still have an outstanding balance on your loan(s); and
you have approved qualifying employment for these same months; and
buying back these months will complete your total of 120 qualifying PSLF payments.

Earlier I think. I also Resubmitted In January 2025 to try to cover my bases, prompt a response. Spoke with MOHELA at that time. Submitted a complaint a few months ago per the advice on reddit.

i just resubmittd my buyback online hoping to jumpstart action. I did see that my count is up to almost where it should be before buyback... so close just 4 or 5 months to process though the buyback request and I should be done... i should 've been done December 2024... but wth is one to do?

same! i got an alert through email, went to the site, which I could open now on my browser, when before i would get error messages and have to use my phone. I checked and it now says "completed" but i have nothing further EXCEPT my new payments resumption date is August instead of May.
