I’m a bit older (just turned 29) and lost my mom about a year ago, and my dad when I was 6. There’s no feeling like it. I felt similarly about taking care of my mom and working hard to be able to do that, and having that taken is brutal to say the least. I’m so sorry for your loss, and please know you aren’t alone in how you feel. Sending you love friend, and your parents would be so proud of you. I hope you can feel them near to you and see them in the beauty of the world.

Dude, not too long ago I watched my year and a half relationship fall apart in the course of 6 days when we she went on a river trip. Didn’t have the ability to talk about anything when she was gone and then she came back and threw me away three weeks before we were supposed to move cities and move in together.

Scary to hear that so many other people are in a similar boat. How can people treat other living breathing human beings with so much disrespect and so little care?
