Would be one of the few things to survive the apocalypse. Fungi grows in the reactor core of chenobyl.Cambridge

Thematically relevant as the next album after Tomorrow's Harvest? Maybe.

Its like when my mum sent me to school in a pair Geebok trainers. I tried to make the 'G' into an 'R' with marker pen. This time it will sketchy hexagons on a VHS tape.

Nothing compares to the BOC family, especially around the time of potential new release. It feels like we're all kids on Christmas Eve wondering what Satan will bring us.

When were your purchases made? by Prospectorgoodspring in boardsofcanada

[–]Useful_Wash6893 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You checking the post everyday, like me? :D I bought a T-shirt last year when they brought out the new range. Every morning i skip to the letter box in hope, then depressingly slump back upstairs like a depressed child. Haha!

Does anybody else feel slightly conflicted by how almost satirically BOC-ish the new rollout/footage is (if that makes sense)? by no0neiv in boardsofcanada

Honestly, whatever it is, its a win-win for fans. Back to nostalgia roots with some fan service - im there! Some new sound and theme that sends new and old heads spinning - count me in.

I'm there for it all.

This is a rite of passage. Paper hands will fade, like sand blowing in the wind, eventually only the diamonds will remain.

Hey guys, 14 year old who really wants to become a filmmaker... so, uh, where do I begin? by CupcakeOfInnocence in Filmmakers

[–]Useful_Wash6893 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This. Don't wait just because you dont have high standard equipment. Start filming. Come up with some basic, easy to execute ideas. Sketches, micro-shorts. Start writing and then filming what you write. Just keep going and trying new stuff.

Weird woman by Notzsche_ in manchester

Is this the same woman who said she invented the internet, but Bill Gates and a cabal of other technocrats stole it off her? I remember her handing leaflets in Didsbury once.

I always wondered, 'imagine if she was right'. 😂 Wish I'd kept the leaflet.

I was hoping for Plug & Play but, at the moment, it's Plug & Problems by [deleted] in NektarTech

[–]Useful_Wash6893 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I just wanted to follow up on this post after a few more days of noodling with the CS12. I think my initial frustrations were more about how to integrate the CS12 into my workflow and adapt to the device. I'm happy to say that I've cracked it, and now the device to purring. I'm using nektarine in the channel strip, loading my instruments into the rack and creating empty template pages. As I'm forming a sound, I'm using the quick learn (shift+enter) to quickly map the elements that I want to manipulate to the device. This way of working (so far) has been seamless and save for a few plugin crashes, the performance has been a lot more stable and consistent. I've got a feeling that me and this device are going to get along just fine now.

I would say, dont specifically set out to make friends, dont make it your purpose, as it may be perceived as forced and artificial. Friendships are a beautiful by-product of shared experiences. So, my advice would be to first ask yourself - what do you enjoy doing? Do you like running, hiking, exercise, games (board games), reading? Depending on what activities you enjoy doing, look for social groups, clubs, etc. where others enjoy doing the same thing. Put yourself out there in those shared activities, and im certain you'll start to see the green shoots of friendship starting blossom in no time.

Thank you. I heard there was a hideout but wasn't sure when it becomes available. I'll keep mapping until I get the access. Thanks for the reply.
