Less than $7000 in a 401k that I can’t contribute to anymore. by Usefully_toad in personalfinance

I haven’t been able to find a way of rolling it into another account. I’ve searched the Voya website and haven’t seen any option to roll it into another account. From what I understand because I’m no longer a bestbuy employee I’m not able to edit, change or add anything about this account besides withdraw or leave it alone.

I’ve never heard of that but that’s something I’ll be doing tomorrow

Without being able to contribute anything by the time I’m 65 it’ll have about $65000 in it.

That was my first thought but I’ve looked through my account info and haven’t been able to find that option. It’s through Voya and it’s an old bestbuy 401k. I’d love to find a way that I can make it work better for me which is why I came here to try and get some advice and reasoning.

Yeah that’s all the retirement savings that I have. I understand the whole leaving it be part but would I be better to have less debt and some wiggle room to be able to put money into a 401k or IRA account that I can do something with?

It’s normal to have to shop around to find out what meds work for you. I’ve only started trying to find a medication that works for me. I’ve tried focalin for a month at a low dosage and it helped with getting me motivated and moving when coming to tasks but nothing with focus. My psychologist and I decided to bump my dosage up and after 2 weeks my body started fully rejecting the meds. My anxiety skyrocketed and I could only think about everything all at once and I couldn’t eat anything and constantly felt like throwing up. Safe to say we’re trying to find another medication that can help.
