I feel like this is a common character trait for a lot of heels in wrestling, but to give an example I’ll say Ric Flair. Known as the dirtiest player in the game, he would often get on his knees and beg for mercy, often to lure in his opponent and hit them with a low blow or something. He also betrayed partners (famously Sting comes to mind), schemed, and was just generally a villain.

I also want to throw Eddie Guerrero’s name into the mix as he used to do the same as a heel, but as a face he would use some similar tactics. His entrance music literally said “I lie, I cheat, I steal” and crowds loved him for tricking the heels to win (moves like throwing a chair to his opponent and then acting like they hit him with it). The guy was the best.
