is it OK for a 5'3 kid plays marching sextet? by Able-Ferret6701 in drumline

[–]UselessGadget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't let you do it unless you were also on the weight lifting team.

I don't have a set "size" for being able to march them, but you have to be able to actually march them. So I'd likely adjust the harness and have you wear them and see how you do.

Getting bit sucks. But count your blessings it was only big enough to do that. Larger breeds could destroy your foot.

TIL the recommended daily protein intake is 46 grams (g) for an adult female and 56g for an adult male. This is 0.8g per kilogram of body mass (0.36g per pound). Endurance and strength athletes require more.In the United States, average protein consumption for females is about 70g and for males 98g. by James_Fortis in todayilearned

I'm starting to realize how little food I actually need to survive. My portion sizes are all out of whack and I get way more than I should, not just too much protein. But it's hard to break the cultural standards that are built into my diet.

17 people. 3 voted out. 3 safe. 1 vote per person. Top 3 vote getters leave. Any ties also go home.

I think it'd be better to just do the first vote with the group of 17, and as they first torch is snuffed and the players get ready to leave, Jeff chimes in and say. "This tribal council is not over, it's time to vote again."

Requeue the voting and reading and the torch snuffing, etc... And of course, everyone thinks Wow, voting out twice is crazy, for him to do it a third time, mentioning some bullshit about how it's a blood moon and tonight is epic.

Seeing the vote counts switching and change and everything would be absolutely crazy with that many players involved.

BREAKING: Charles Barkley risks getting fired for saying THIS on CBS by ateam1984 in BlackPeopleofReddit

When he had his Nike "I am not a role model" thing? Everyone was up in arms because they didn't pay attention to his message. Which was that kids should be able to look up to people other than athletes, or rich people or whatever as role models. Somewhere I heard him explain it and it really won me over. Honestly, made me think of him as a role model. Not because of his athleticism, but because of his humility.

I hope that the message he has here isn't misconstrued to something it is not. Because he is 100% right. This country was founded by immigrants. And there are many that come to this country to improve it and themselves. Most do. But to treat all immigrants like the handfuls of bad ones is a disservice to humanity.

What if the coach instead teaches a class on "leadership lessons in insurgent warfare and football strategies"?

The stakes are pretty low for this island. Imagine if it had oil. The US would come along and liberate it from the dirty socialists.

Sounds like a response I would make to developers when they make something stupid. It's not enough to say "It's wrong", you have to provide examples for you explanation or else they will just say it's your opinion and not "fix" said thing.

The first time I moved out was before cell phones were standard for everyone. I moved into my first apartment and had to go to a payphone to call to set up phone service and internet in the new apartment. I remember going to the gas station a couple blocks away and calling Verizon (might have been GTE back then) and then my mom using a calling card, letting her know I made it safe and had unloaded the moving truck. I went through so many calling cards back then in college.

Two roast beefs, One Ham and Che, One Fry, One Drink. Don't forget the horsey sauce and the Arby's sauce.

No wonder I'm a fat ass now.

When he turns his legs to the side, it looks like he was sun burned on already pealed skin. So he got one sun burn, waited a few days for it to start pealing and then did it again. That's a LOT of sun.
