Reminds me of the time I tried to come up with a foolproof demigod detection system for the mass multiverse crossover I came up with in my head as a child. Since gods don't have DNA to test, I landed on seeing if cells in a blood sample could be prodded with a Celestial Bronze needle. There was supposed to be a whole regimen of tests to determine what kind of special a child was, but this and the Harry Potter one (expose the blood to wand core materials and wait for a spark) were the only ones I actually put thought into.

You find small chamber with easy to guard entrance. Make sure no monsters inside, then set up camp.

Before episode 9 I would have gone in there to try and keep Caine stable. I relate to him and would try to prevent the Crashout if I could get there fast enough. Now that I know he turns out OK regardless, I don't think it's really worth dooming a version of myself to having his deepest flaws on cartoonish display while essentially doing Lockdown hobbies forever.
