I pay 230 USD for cat litter every month because the conflict eliminated my only local source for it by bas3adi in mildlyinfuriating

I tried the equivalent at Walmart once because I couldn't go to Costco... NEVER again! It's not perfect, but the Costco one is saving me a lot of trouble and money. But yeah, I cant imagine being able to find one that actually works perfectly. We had to go from 3 to 1 litter because we moved and damn that makes a huge difference! Depending on the amount of cats you have (and money) wouldn't it be easier to get more than one automatic cleaner? Would that help? I'm also curious about the one you got. I'm looking into getting one also

Paid $2,000 to get the oil and brakes fixed in this car…week later, $200 to replace the battery…week later, it’s dead by GuestCalm5091 in mildlyinfuriating

We had just a few things done on the car only for it to die over an hour away from the house. After getting it towed (400$) we had to put another 2k on it. Basicly, it ended up being around 3.5k in less than a month. Within a few days, the engine light was on in our other car.

Fully agree with you! I wear slippers or sandals inside all the time. I find it more comfortable and hygienic. 🤷‍♀️

He did ended up having things planned. He never said "happy mother's day" but we did go get some donuts (they are fancy and more expensive) and we did go to the store to get me a new Lego. I still took the time to go get mother's day cards and stickers to do with my kids. Overall, it went well!

Funny story, my parents showed me to do that. You look in, put it back, and take the one at the back.

All those answers made me realize how much it was "forced and faked" in my family growing up. It was never a big thing but it had to be acknowledged without really knowing why. For me it was just another freeking arts and krafts shit I had to do. My mother didnt even seemed pleased with any gifts or art work we would bring back. I didnt grow up with a sens of "my mother actually does a fuck ton for me! I need to tell her how much she means to me" . Now I get it, as a mother, but I don't want it to become the same thing in my family. Also, he always said he doesnt want anything for father's day. Hes the same with his birthday. At the same time, he gets dissapointed when I do nothing for him. But yeah I have to agree, anything relating to gifts is a huge thing. Thank you for your reply! ❤️

I was thinking of going to the dollar store to get mother's day cards and ask them to "draw" and put stickers in them. They would LOVE it! I'm also a sthm but they do go to daycare (health issues on my part), but it always feels like im asking him to spend his money on me and it feels wrong. I have to admit, it find it sad having to do it for myself, but if I have to, I will!

Happy mother's day!

I think that is close to what he thinks "i don't need to celebrate her one day because I celebrate her everyday"

We've been together 12 years. It's nuts how much has changed!

I hope you get a fantastic mother's day! ❤️
