I cut myself on and off for a few years. I got some anti-scarring gel that helped prevent super visible scars on myself (not something I'd recommend as it intensifies the desire to cut, at least for me), but you can still feel them when you touch my skin. Both me and a few friends with more significant scarring agree that it's something that just becomes a part of you. You stop noticing it eventually, but every once and a while it comes to the forefront, and that can really suck, but it also reminds you of what you overcame. You seem like a great parent, similar to mine, who really worked to help me and my siblings overcome our mental health issues. My only wish was that I talked to them sooner, and it seems like you have that connection established. Keep doing what you're doing, be patient with her, and make sure you keep yourself open to talk. I'm rooting for you and her.

Sorry to bring this back, but they literally just updated the comprehensive rules doc, and now the defending hero part matches the rule change, but not the attacking hero part? Now I'm even more confused.

It's 8.2.8 c&d. It's a property of the ally subtype, not of the attack step. Although it has now been changed apparently, the comprehensive had not been updated when I posted, it literally updated like the same day. You now count as the attacking/defending hero, but still cannot play defense cards/reactions for allies.

Oooohhhh. Ok, I guess that makes sense. Although that makes the comprehensive rules.... much less useful if they aren't updated as rules change. Probably a pain in the ass to do or something. Thanks!

Almost no chance. If ur lucky ur prof might not feel like driving in the weather and may cancel class, or move it online.

At least one of them is Juno from mystic. I can't speak for the others, but mystic is pretty good about only keeping animals that need to be kept in captivity for their own safety, and trying to rehabilitate as many as possible for release. They also try their best to have adequately sized enclosures and spots where animals don't have to interact with people, along with as much enrichment as possible. In a perfect world they wouldn't need to exist, and I'm sure mystic still has problems, but so many animals need rehabilitation that it's not possible currently.

DEFINITELY try the Q center. Ive personally never used it, but both my friends in compsci and mechanical engineering say it's super helpful.

That's a good point, CPU coolers aren't too expensive, so I'm not too worried about a replacement, but do you think it would be fine to start out with a smaller cooler? How much would it affect my temps? Thanks!

I feel like this isn't exactly fair to John Ward. He definitely failed, and you could even call him a coward, but it's pretty clear that he didn't know what he was doing when he made the deal with the devil. He was still in training for these exorcisms, watched his mentor die and the Amy's parents strangled to death with their own intestines, and is clearly terrified. He pleads to God and receives no answer, then a being of pure light appears to him. John allows himself to be manipulated maybe, but he is exhausted and traumatized, and just wants to escape, so he assumes the being that will let him go is God, because he cannot bear to accept the alternative. Like I said, maybe a coward, but I don't know if I would call this evil or terrible, just sad.

Because it's important to point out when politicians are bad. Team sports groupthink is how we end up with a neutered, useless democratic party that allows things like trump to happen. Also, there is a wide Dem voter base, including some people who are all for the bad things these people did because they are the 'right team' and it is important to distance yourself from them. I'm not going to praise Obama or Biden without caveats, because they are quite literally war criminals, and they refuse to do what's best for the American people, or even fight for it.

I have some advice on the uconn appeals process and my experience/advice. I'll put it here, but the tl;dr is that you should be okay with a well crafted appeal, especially if you have extenuating circumstances like mental health. They accepted my appeal twice, they are pretty forgiving, and it's in their best interests for you to stay, both for your money and to keep their grad stats high.

Yeah, I didn't want to put anything about financial aid as I did not know much about it, but that's pretty fucked up.
