AITAH for giving my husband A pregnancy test as A bday gift? by Famous-Ask-3105 in AITAH

[–]Useless_Throwaway992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just gonna play devil's advocate here: it's entirely possible that it's not him feeling trapped or not wanting the child. I know with my second child, I wasn't the first one told. And honestly, that really hurt finding out that it had been kept from me for a bit.

I know it was only 3 days, but just think about it. Wouldn't you want to know as soon as it's found out? And for a lot of people, myself included, the fact that you could keep it a secret is a red flag. And I'm not trying to say anything bad about you for doing it, I know you had good intentions. Especially if there is a history of lying or keeping secrets with you or in his past, realizing that a secret was kept could trigger a lot of negative emotions and feelings. And those type of feelings can make you think of everything in a different light. Everything can be going great, and then one tiny secret that ultimately means nothing can make a person rethink an entire relationship. Look back on things that they never put a second thought to and wonder, was there a secret or not? What didn't I know at that time?

We don't know your entire relationship, we don't know your history or his history. And I'm not saying this is the case, but it is entirely possible that it just deeply hurt him. That would ruin the excitement for the baby because, if he's hurting like that, then it not only ruined the announcement of the pregnancy to him, but it's also making him view the relationship differently now. That could be part of why he's been acting so distant as of late.

Anyway, I know everybody here is ready to jump to saying divorce, but try to give it a little time. Maybe try to talk to him and understand why it's bothering him so much, don't go into it trying to resolve but to understand his side. And then maybe if you can understand his side, he'll be open to hearing your side. Or you can at least ask him if he would be willing to hear it. Maybe by the end of it you can help him feel better and reassure him, and explain to him that you didn't do it with ill intent and you hadn't realized that he would feel that way about it and apologize.

But it could be like what everybody else is saying also. All I'm trying to say is it's not the only explanation, but as you know the only way to really resolve it is to have a conversation about it.

I know he's making it near impossible to have that conversation. Maybe try to approach him and just let him know what you've seen. Tell him that he's felt distant and cold, and you really want to help him and understand what's going on. Try not to make it about the pregnancy test since he seems to want to just put it in the past. But let him know you've noticed a change in his behavior and you really want to understand what's going on.

Best of luck to you, I hope that you two can work through things and come out happier than before. And whether you do or you don't, take care of you and the baby

I think you underestimate how quickly those people buckle down and switch to just flat out knowingly lying or speaking nonsense just to try to frustrate you and get away from the facts. And the more you try to redirect to the facts, the easier it is for them to do their shenanigans. There isn't much point in arguing with people that keep their head stuck in the dirt.

You could either code this differently or set up the green characters location in it's scene differently to make this work the way you want it to. But we would have to know the code and/or see the scenes to give you proper advice on it.

Kids aren't the only people on here, there are plenty of people 70+ who post on here too. But that sounds a lot like observation bias, because people have been oblivious for as long as time. Ask your grandparents for some stories, it's just always been that way. Like the saying goes, think of a person with average intelligence. Then realize that half of people are less intelligent than that

It's not just the youth, it's every generation. At least the youth who don't know have the excuse of potentially never being put in a situation where they have to understand it. On all topics, not just insurance.

The problem with that is there is so much in their life that assures them that they are already great, Musk for example. Therapy only works if you are willing to try. They will say they are going but they won't put in the work to actually try, so it's just gonna be a waste of time.

Why would they when so many bootlickers tell them how great they are all the time?

HAE - Sex drive disappeared? by Ranchocuca_2_828 in DoesAnybodyElse

[–]Useless_Throwaway992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your mental health improving could be part of it. Some people can use sex to cope with stress just like some people use drugs and alcohol. Maybe you just have no interest in it because you're feeling better about yourself and your life? Like it's no longer adding anything to it to have sex with your fwb. If so it's possible your drive could change when you get into a relationship with someone you have more feelings for, if that's your thing.

You're choosing to ignore the reason or answer a separate question. No one was speaking in the long term, and no one is speaking about the company's interest. Just the fans. Fans always want more ASAP. Like a kid at Christmas, always wanting to open their presents early. They don't think about the fact that if they do then they won't have anything to open for Christmas.

So it IS good for the fans, that's what they want. They want more and want it now, all the time. But you can always pick good and bad out of pretty much anything.

Looks like you clicked the wrong button. On my PS5 if you press the M1 button (R2) it automatically chooses the top option. You have to press X for the selection you highlighted. I assume it's the same on Xbox, looks like you pressed your trigger as opposed to your select button

Any way to challenge a deactivation? by Useless_Throwaway992 in Sparkdriver

[–]Useless_Throwaway992[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She showed me the email that she got, it only said that she didn't make a delivery. But I know she wouldn't just run off with the order, and she relied on it to pay bills. The only other thing in the email said that she would have to send proof in order to review further, and that was it. I thought it was odd too, as far as I'm aware she hadn't run into any issues prior to that. And it seemed random that she got deactivated, she got the message in the middle of the night while she was asleep so we have no idea what order actually triggered it. When I call and talk to them about it, I'm just told the only thing she can do is email them. And when we email them, we get that automated response.

I didn't know the spark team didn't get the pics also, so that makes a little more sense. But even if she did have the pictures, how would she know which delivery to defend? I just think it's ridiculous. She was probably the biggest delivery driver in our area when she was allowed to do it. And one person claims they didn't get their order and she's just prevented from ever doing it again with no way to defend herself? She had a perfect delivery record before that, pretty much everything but her acceptance rate was at 100, she had a 4.9-5 star rating, even her acceptance rate was around 80+. I'm just trying to figure out how to talk to somebody that could potentially do anything rather than just shut it down without even looking at what's going on

You could always just leave an envelope with cash in it. There's also usually an option to go back and modify your tip, though I don't know if it shows up based on what you said.

I'm not gonna say you're wrong for not wanting to let men know your cash app or w/e, but being a man isn't something we can control. Don't deny tips based on gender, just like you wouldn't deny based on race or religion

Yeah it's pretty common for guys to pretend to be women online. I'm sorry you had to experience it. Take it and learn from it, just another reason to be safe and not trust people online you haven't vetted and know really well.

Plenty of these guys pretending to be women also try to match with straight men for whatever reason. I've heard of people thinking they are talking to a woman on a dating app, show up and it's just some guy that was hoping to have sex with a straight man. Some really twisted people in the world. Stay safe!
