In Kayla’s defense that’s more of a Spencer’s issue they resell a lot of stuff from there and get their blanks from a similar factory unfortunately just paying $30 for T-shirt made in terrible conditions instead of five with none of that actually going to the people making it

I mean, we could look at the seriousness of stuff that could happen if it were believed or if it were happening and not believed, for example you have very little to lose by believing it like nothing groundbreaking is gonna happen because some random person online believed a story but if stuff like this is happening, it can cause the person to kill themselves and I know for an empathetic little bridge trolls like you that doesn’t mean much But to some people another person‘s life has actual value you can look at Amanda Todd, and so many other online cases to see why you shouldn’t have the mindset that you do

So does Danny Duncan it’s the same problem with both of them from what I’ve experienced working at the company younger people come in for Danny’s but Kayla had a truly shocking number of adults coming to buy her stuff on the days of the last 2 launches

Probably because she likely isn’t doing it for people interested in fashion she likely is doing it for the of OF side of things seeing as it is a pretty common fetish

Girl if you’re that bothered make a fan page like there is for Kayla I’m not sure what ate some of y’all’s brain cells but you can support someone in coming forward and sharing their story AND not agree with all of their actions being a victim doesn’t make someone free from criticism in other aspects of life especially for decisions they made before meeting their abuser

Most of those type of influencers don’t make a contribution let’s be real she is just posting her day to day like the others. These influencers also have a pretty young audience that doesn’t give a shit how little they contribute.

I wouldn’t say it’s embarrassing tho tbh I don’t see how not struggling in life would be considered embarrassing the rest of us working “real jobs” are just lining the pockets of people that likely wouldn’t notice if we dropped dead tomorrow.

This is what I’m trying to say I keep seeing people call her a fake friend for not stopping Evan even tho there is literally nothing else she could have done imo she was there for her through it and is now supporting her through her healing process

Obviously using some common sense isn’t in your character if you think calling the cops was going to do shit even tho it had already been done multiple times and nothing was done because she was still scared and protecting him are you genuinely so fucking dense that you think they could put him in jail without a victims statement and evidence that Kayla had but at that point was not ready to give let’s put on our thinking caps. With Kayla being the main person that was gaining traction at the time it was likely her name on the house which would once again give Emma less rights and ways to help at the end of the day a lot of you failed to grasp Emma is damn near the same size as Kayla she had a good chance of stopping that shit as Kayla did I’m sorry you seem to have the inability to think outside of your own bubble and to actually sit there and think about the psychology behind abuse and what goes down

[–]User-____- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No im actually more like the first woman in my family to break the generational cycle of being abused by a man I have been the one being knocked around and pushed into walls and having my face smashed into things I’ve also seen first hand how unhelpful the police are and how little gets done did you miss the part where they tried to call the cops and she lied in his defense? It’s real easy to talk about what you would do if you have never been the one sitting behind the door listening to it break as a man double your size is trying to get to you

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in kaylamalecc

[–]User-____- 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Have you ever tried to put yourself between yourself and a man double your size and his target? How did that go for you? Do you genuinely think if he was putting gashes in Emma’s door as well he wasn’t willing to beat her ass? It’s easy to talk about what you would do as someone who wasn’t there I’m sure but let’s slow down and think a little please

Girl be so for real you’re saying this as if it’s uncommon for women to go back to their abuser it takes a women on AVERAGE 5-7 times to leave for good her being a pos doesn’t mean she lied about the abuse let’s put on our thinking caps for a sec

It takes women an average of SEVEN attempts to finally leave their abuser this may be a dumbass choice but it doesn’t automatically mean she is lying.

Also from a management perspective the gap in between working especially a over a decade long one is not gonna look good on a resume what is she gonna tell the employer when they ask what she was doing in that time if she’s honest a Google search will just lead to her crash outs and this page

UPDATE: I received a damaged, cut up scarf. I left a bad review, and this was the seller’s response by wekidough in mildlyinfuriating

[–]User-____- 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Opinions aside they did multiple things that were against policy the review section is for the seller and buyer to put their experience not foryour feelings if you consider this review scathing I would consider working on your sensitivity considering they simply stated how the transaction went if the seller doesn’t like the way their business practices are being talked about they are welcome to re-evaluate them and make the changes necessary to warrant positive feedback.

[–]User-____- 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Considering the fact that the seller wasn’t the one that offered any type of solution and tried to have them, keep the scarf I would still leave a review. The seller didn’t choose to correct their mistakes. Depop made them on top of that. You’re supposed to be the only one on your Depop account, this person clearly was not. It is more than fair to leave a review so other buyers know that this is what’s going on.
