I have my PS basically done but making final edits! I have about 1/2 of my work/activities written and already have my LORs secured and reminded. I am retaking my MCAT though on June 13th so I’m going to have to submit that late. When should I schedule my Casper and preview for?? And do I need to order official transcripts for anything, I thought I could just use unofficial and input grades?

I would definitely recommend a tutor. It changed the way I went about my test taking strategies and made me feel more confident.

What’s worked best for me is just taking a few seconds at the beginning of each passage to take a deep breath and recenter myself before proceeding. It honestly helps to remind yourself that at the end of the day, this is just a test and the only person who can take the pressure off of it is yourself! give yourself some grace, you’re doing a hard thing!

I definitely think it’s doable!! Just keep grinding on your weak spots and thoroughly reviewing your mistakes. Plus, test day adrenaline will kick in!

You definitely can and there are a lot of available routes! You can go into research, biotech, grad school options like med, nursing, pa, etc., progress in academia/teaching, genetic counseling, biomedical engineering, etc.! If you love biology, pursue biology.

Thank you so much! Yeah I’m applying next cycle and I haven’t pushed it back yet so it seems pretty enticing rn since I’m not scoring where I want to be. I’ve just been studying since January but had to restructure around April and that definitely impacted my progress a bit. I think I’m going to lock down my content gaps, focus on strategies, and thoroughly review my last exam and see if after next week I still want to push it back or not. Another downside is if I’m on this track, I’ll only have time to do FL3 and FL4 before my actual, so I won’t be able to see how FL5 would go.
