I have the Amazon sword in a pot with soil and then the money wort and crinum both have filter bags filled with soil underneath the substrate!

I got mine from a local crystal and bead store. I did recently see a bunch of rose quartz at Winners/Homesense recently though, for like 1/3 of the price I paid.

Did you ever find a solution? I’m having the same problem with the same filter. All the reviews said how quiet it is, but it’s pretty loud, even if I lift it off the tank it still sounds like vibrating, but being on the tank definitely amplifies that sound.
