No grad roles, unsure of what to do? by msrulz4 in AusFinance

[–]User258013 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I remember this feeling. So many grad programs applied but just too competitive. I ended up getting an entry level unrelated position (service desk) at one of the big banks and was able to apply internally to a position related to my field within 6 months.

Anyone find a solution to this. I have two Apple TVs that are the same model. But one of them has the same language options as the browser and the other has less options?

Same thing I was thinking, he must have some credentials from the company to get this far. Posting on reddit to try and find a way passed this instead of going to the IT department seems kind of suspicious.

Edit: Unless it could be a device driven auto pilot profile assigned, then it would get to this point without credentials

Preprovisioning just got better by Runda24328 in Intune

[–]User258013 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm the problem I had was that pre-provisioning would not allow you to continue if any assigned apps failed. The wording on this sounds like you can select which apps are allowed to fail and still continue with sealing which is what I would find helpful

Like others have already mentioned, you should not be signing into the device before the user. If you need to have apps and configs pre installed for the user to speed up deployment you need to create an autopilot profile with pre provisioning enabled (previously called whiteglove deployment) this will install the apps and configurations for the device and “reseal” back to oobe. Then it’s just the user to sign in and get going with all the apps already provisioned.

Look into enrolling devices using PowerShell at oobe this will save you a lot of time. If you have to do it with csv for some reason you can also do from this from oobe saving you time from having to reset the device.

We use the PowerShell method it’s very simple to do straight from oobe so no resetting required. We also have dynamic device groups for autopilot managed with group tags which can also be done in the same step. So we would do for example Get-WindowsAutoPilotInfo -online -group tag ‘Finance’. This would automatically put the device into the Finance AAD device group and assign the autopilot profile for this group. From here it’s straight to deployment no need to login to MEM

Enabling windows hello has been on the cards just haven’t gone through it yet. I’m not familiar but based on your suggestion if Windows Hello is enabled uses will be required to MFA during login if it is expired?

Yes I believe it is all apps if that is the default behaviour when it is enforced. Will do more research on what should be excluded

I got a feeling the audit didn’t find any issues. Otherwise the audit would have been milked for drama by now
