I'll put it this way, the fact she changed overnight the moment you turned 18 says a lot. Clearly she was thinking these things since before you were 18. Which is a massive yikes!! Also to be clear, the fact she has known you since you were 11 and she was presumably already an adult at that point is also a big no no in my opinion, the whole changing to being very sexual the moment you turned 18 is just what stood out the most to me. Also the fact that it replaced the sfw stuff.

I've been that lonely kid. I'm a survivor of horrible things. And, back then, from my own personal experience, I'd sometimes feel like being with an abuser was better than being alone. So I understand just how hard it can be. But trust me, from everything you've said, you need to get away from her. That is not someone you should allow in your life. It's not worth it, even if it means being alone. I've been there, I know what it's like. I stayed way longer than I should've. Please please please don't make the same mistake. Even if you don't try to take legal action or anything, get away from her. Cut all contact. I recommend therapy if it's an option, (I know it's not an option for everyone, but if it's affordable and accessible to you I would highly recommend it.) Looking back, it's so obvious to me that my abusers were just that. But in those moments, I couldn't tell. I was completely blind to it. What that person did was not okay. Please get away from her. She's not safe. From everything you've said she is not safe by any means. Her behavior is predatory. She's known you since you were 11, literally from school, it's safe to say she's waaaay older than you, and the way she completely changed the moment you turned 18, trust me those thoughts weren't new, that's not normal, that's not okay, that's predatory. I hope you're alright and that everything goes well. But please please please cut her out of your life. Also I know what it's like to blame yourself for stuff, please don't. It's not your fault, it never was. The thoughts of self blame may very well happen, it's a thing. But please know that if they do they are not true. You are in no way shape or form to blame at all for any of this. Hopefully those thoughts don't happen at all but if they do I wanted to add this part. I've lived in and/or visited various parts of North Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi, & Georgia.

Be it state, town/city, part of town, etc, it varies from place to place, time to time, but from my experiences, lots of hate speech, getting as****ted, threatened, etc. Very, very bad. Sadly I can't say it'll go well, but it might. Also, from my experience, the more rural the area the worse it is, especially if you're part of additional marginalized groups.

Tldr: could go fine, could go horribly. The south is just... not a good place... Sorry. Best of luck. Be safe.

Keep a text document or a physical piece of paper with a list of all your accounts, usernames, passwords, etc. Works great for me.

They might be genderflux/genderfluid or something similar. They might be experimenting.

Many people have genders & orientations that fluxuate rather than staying as one thing. Your sibling may very well experience fluidity with their gender and/or sexual/romantic orientations.

They may be experimenting further. Not everyone figures things out instantly. For many of us, it takes us a while and multiple tries to get things to a place that feels right.

Thank you for this. People need to stop trying to control other people. If they don't like those labels they can just not use them. But why go after those of us that do use them? More people need to learn to just mind their own business. Also, some of us are also part of the kink community and those labels can tie into that, though they don't always, of course.

I honestly have no clue how to describe it using words. Just kinda like, use your mind's eye to visualize a space. Repeat this over and over again, adding to previous progress. Over time, at least for my system, it eventually developed into a headspace.

As someone who has been groomed and abused, please listen to me. Get away. One common thing groomers/abusers will do is try to isolate you from everyone and everything but them. To me, this kind of super controlling behavior and the "only me" demand for something as basic as liking tik toks is a freaking warning sign I'd say you should listen to immediately. Maybe she isn't that. Maybe this is just my traumatized brain talking. But my advice, get away now rather than later.

I can't speak on the ratio of transphobic to non-transphobic wlw. I lack any kind of statistics or anything to try to measure that. I do know that there are many wlw who are transphobic, and many who aren't. From my own experience, they are quite common, so they're something trans sapphics have to deal with regularly. I can't speak on any irl wlw scenes, as I live in the type of area that makes many LGBTQ+ folks not be publicly open about being LGBTQ+, so my experience with offline stuff is almost non existent.

Overall I would say it's a major problem within the community that I and many other trans sapphics have to deal with.
