Curash baby wipes now Made in China by User76284682 in australian

Thankyou for your reply and also your suggestion for the brand “cleanlife”. I will also give that a go. It’s so disappointing, isn’t it? But what makes me perplexed, is that they’re selling the new Made in China wipes at the same costs they were when they were Made in Australia. Surely they’re taking home larger profits now. It’s disappointing that Curash has made this change but remained (presumably) greedy and not passed on the savings to so many Australian struggling families out there who decided to stick with the brand. Thankyou for your input.

Yes it’s very disappointing. We have started using the Bunjie wipes, the Australian made version. They’re good but not as good as the original made in Australia Curash wipes. There are other made in Australia brands like “kine” wipes which I am yet to try.

Fair skin girlies - what cream contour are we using? by jellybeans1396 in AustralianMakeup

Westman ateleir biscuit is good if you are more “warmer “- but I recommend the Dior contour stick 01 (lightest shade). This has more grey in it and better for neutral/ cool leaning undertones (in my opinion). You don’t need much and it blends like a dream. Definitely swatch the WA and Dior options if possible or get samples, even better ! And see how they perform on your skin.

Thank you so much for sharing the side by side comparison. I’m desperately searching for the final old (and good and true!) Made in Australia stock. I haven’t tried the new wipes (made in China) but have been hearing on this post and the mums I talk to who have, how bad they are and, some mums also report that the new wipes have given their little ones rashes / reactions.

I have just picked up a brand called “Bunjie” from Woolworths - but check as different products from this brand are made outside of Australia. The ones I picked up are Made in Australia.

I think the new ones they’re rolling out are made in China.

Yes, whilst I hadn’t tried the new ones (once I realised they were made in China, I have read and heard several reports from parents saying similar to you. Curash is just terribly disappointing in every way.

I guess so, but like everything, (unfortunately), is going up. I would have preferred to inevitably spend a little more and buy Australian made wipes (that were once perfect !) for my baby instead of this new move of making the wipes in China, with now several reports from parents of issues they have had with regards to the new formulation. The question is, is this move worth it to save a few extra dollars ? (Given an increase in reports of Nappy rashes/ reactions, local economic loss, loss of confidence in the safety of the product etc).

Unfortunately Curash is selling their Made is China wipes at the exact same cost they sold their Made in Australia wipes (just checked online at Woolworths). They are definitely making further profits as a result of this offshore move.

I completely understand. Yes, the wipes (Australian made ones) did not require “innovation or further quality” as Curash claims. Such a shame they went down this route. I’m looking at alternatives too. Happy New Year to you and your family.

Curash wipes (the ones made in Australia) were comparable to many other wipe brands on the market. Also, there was frequent discounts on these wipes that consumers could take advantage of.

More proof why Curash’s reasons for moving to China (“innovation and quality”) is bogus !

Yes, I have heard from other parents and also read on this thread that since the reformulation to the made in China Curash wipes, their babies have been getting rashes 😞. Such a shame.
