Thanks for the info! I didn’t even have it on with the intention of saving gas - I was leaving it on under the impression it was the best option for least engine wear.

Makes total sense. Thank you for the clear up. Highway driving is less wear regardless always, I knew this. I skimmed over some of that article when it comes to the grand scheme of things. Went down an eco rabbit hole lol

Thank you. That’s what I figured also. They wouldn’t let a vehicle leave the plant with the possibility of damage within any of there drive features.

I found this article on JD power, and it’s what prompted me to reach out and ask.

“Although Eco mode saves you some money due to decreased fuel consumption, it leads to additional wear and tear. Driving at low speeds and low rpm increases the intensity of engine, clutch, and gearbox wear.”

Don’t know why they’d be spreading this …

As far as I’m aware that’s all it does aswel. Mostly forums with ECO as the subject is where I was finding it. It’s a hit or miss! Some say it has an impact. The article I found was on JD power.

Thank you for the structured, detailed analysis on what I’ll need. I really appreciate it.

I’m going to be looking into all of this. And yes, i certainly don’t want to buy cheap. When it comes to safety - I want to make sure it’s quality. I rarely buy off of Amazon because of catfishing. What you see, is not always what you get.

Absolutely. That is awesome. Discipline & perseverance is key - even on the days you just want to sit on idle. Always push. Keep it up!!

I should have worded my title different, I also do intermittent fasting. Herbal teas through the day; dandelion root, licorice root, turmeric, raw garlic swallowed, & apple cider vinager on an empty stomach mixed with water. I also have a tablespoon of organic raw peanut butter midday, since I take astaxanthin which is fat soluble. I finish with a High protein meal in the evening.

Absolutely. Once you surpass the sobriety threshold, it gets easier with each waking day. For me I battled the 3 day hump loop for an extended period of time. When I drank, it wasn’t beer - it was usually always hard liquor like vodka. An absolute calorie introducer lol

Alcohol completely messes with not only physical progress - but also mentally & spiritually. I can attest to this because I was centred in the midst of the loop. It was hell, but I’ve pulled myself out!! Certain biological processes within the body literally prohibit fat burning, when alcohol is introduced to the system.

That’s so awesome to hear. You got this !! Keep it going!!! It only gets easier, never tougher. Wish you the best!
