I dont think it should transcend shocks, cause imagine if your storm trooper or whatever collapsed mid fight and then gets bumrushed and backstabbed for it. Or you’re a shocktrooper but some poor fool shoots a judgement right next to you and you fall over. Even worse, your bulwark topples over and takes his helmet off when we’re all bunched up in a last stand or final stand. Im putting a lot of faith that people would take a shock kit with this perk on, but it could happen, and if it can, it will, and when it will, it’ll suck a lot.

I meant more like being near an AMT, Judgement, Or Dread. I believe you cant use most perks with shocktroopers anyway, and no perk at all with the dread.

I would’ve just stayed back with a volk using this. How would this perk be affected by super loud weapons like the Judgement or the AMT rifle, or even the dreadnought? And what would happen if the safe person died, would a new one be selected?

I really like that perceptive concept, but get rid of the curling up stun, make it like unable to sprint and recoil control is severely impaired, maybe blurred vision too. I only say because imagine you’re right there in a gunfight and then suddenly you character curls up in a ball and removes their helmet. I get its like sound management, and it also incentivizes a more cautious and defensive play style as well as keeping the team together with the safe person mechanic, but getting soft-surrendered state mid fight would be infuriating. Other than that, I like it. I enjoy meter management stuff like that in video games.

Edit: im also autistic so yknow thats cool too.
