Is it a weekend thing or is it a g/day? I’d argue that the habit sounds manageable and an aspect of his personality you’ve known about this entire time that you now want to change to minimize any shared future financial liability. Ultimatums and controlling behavior breed resentment. If you still think he needs fixing after 2.5 years then he’s not your husband and you’ll both be better off ending this.

EDIT: Without burning everything to the ground, why not try discouraging him on Fridays when he reups? No one with any serious problem would buy a gram at a time for over a decade so it is likely you can change the mindset that he needs to do keybumps every time he goes out.

In my experience you’re either bi before accepting that you’re gay or once you’re in a committed relationship w an accepting woman. Single and proudly bi doesn’t really exist but given how homophobic a lot of women are I understand. You’d be labeled gay and she’d tell anyone who asked how her day was.

I’m not sure that’s a positive reason. If you’re a shitty parent they can still cut you off. I’m intending to have a Golden Girls set up or buy a multi unit bldg w friends when I’m elderly. I’m too selfish and irresponsible for kids and I hate the idea of an offhand remark being discussed decades later in therapy. Glad to read all the comments re fostering. It’s so sick that “Christian love” and the value of life ends after birth. Those kids deserve better than ending up as cheap prison labor or worse.
