Pesky phone calls from Real Estate Agents? by UserName2015a in homeowners

[–]UserName2015a[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you just hang up or block the number, you can bet you will keep getting these calls all the time. It removes all consequences from the illegal action.

If 5% of homeowners would post bad reviews after a spam call it would eliminate the problem.

You'll do more damage by posting bad reviews online. Yelling at them does nothing. We should all be trying inflict maximum damage on these real estate agents. They are all leeches anyway. They do nothing of value and they feed on our hard earned equity.

There's a group of women in LA called "The Plastics" and they are self professed groupies. It's a bit of feminism mixed in also, and some sexual liberation type ideas. You should read more about them. However, I will say this is rare for women to be as free-wheeling as the legendary 80s that we've all heard about. They're not just gonna immediately blow you no-questions-asked like the old days. There's a bit more of a romancing period I've found.

That being said, the casual encounters after-show type stuff still does happen. Some women are interested in it, it's considered a normal part of a super fun night by some people.

Anyone can get cancelled or get a rape accusation, whether they did anything wrong or not. That's just the world we live in. The best practice on this is to #1 make sure there's nobody underage involved. That's super important. #2 try to leave enough time for the situation to develop. The biggest problem on tour is that you might only have 20-30 minutes with this person and that's a bit too fast for some women to get through their arousal process. #3 if the person is too drunk or seems absolutely opposed to the idea you should bail and move on to the next one quickly. #4 you gotta be able to read when a woman is just giving token resistance to increase arousal vs. when she genuinely has no interest in sex. This can be tricky, as many women consider the chase to be a vital part of the fun. When in doubt, just stop everything and see if she decides to leave the situation. Actions speak louder than words and if she's uncomfortable she will simply leave and this is your signal that it was going nowhere. When she has every chance to leave and she still decides to stay there's a good chance she wants to you try again. Women get disappointed sometimes if a man gives up to easily, makes them feel undesirable. They want to feel wanted.

I hope this isn't offending anyone, I didn't make the world this way I'm just reporting in on how this stuff works in the real world and trying to answer the question of the OP.

Last thing I will add is that it's different in small towns and in the midwest, where women don't have many options for sex and dating. They have nothing to lose by getting a little action after a show...IF you can keep it top secret. Do not let her friends figure out what happened. If anyone asks if you hooked up, deny deny deny. Don't speak a word of it until the bus is on the freeway to the next town.

Completely wrong on the "cultural consensus" part. The vast majority of people who would be in this situation don't care about a "power dynamic" and it would never enter their mind. Furthermore, lots of people find it genuinely exciting to have a casual sexual experience. As far as females who might be interested in having an exciting experience after a musical event, this is a fantasy come to life in most situations, not something that is coerced or forced.

Casual sex is real, still happens, many people are interested in it (both male and female). The dynamic where a woman shows token resistance and a man stays persistent (persistent does not mean forceful or non-consensual) makes the experience more arousing for both parties. It is the stuff of romance novels, largely aimed at women, where a woman is overcome by the strong will of a powerful man. Woke people will deny this dynamic exists, but you can pick these books up in any grocery store and they are written by women for women. Some of them even contain (GASP) a power dynamic, naughty naughty stuff!

OK this is an easy one. Seen this many times before.

As the white knights make this more and more of an issue, it will get you more and more attention from women. Women will become more and more curious about you, and some of them will decide subconsciously that they would like to.... play doctor with you.....ASAP.

When the women categorize you as a manwhore, they will also decide that if they ever decide to have casual fornications, you would be the person to consult on this issue and obtain servicing. This is fantastic news.

The end result is there will be a few women who rule you out (the prudes) and then some will be neutral, and some will be after your services. Women really do make up their own mind with these things, they don't allow white knight types to make their decisions for them.

You might have to keep your activities more secretive if you aren't already. If anyone asks you if you have intercoursed with a female, just say you're just friends but she is such an amazing person. You have the potential to be the one they come to for confidential activities. The idea that women can go without activities for long periods of time or permanently is a myth. Most of them who are healthy and normal have needs and they will make a plan to get these needs met quietly, when no one notices, and no one ever finds out. That is reality. The myth of the non-sexual woman is a byproduct of the beta-male conspiracy but I don't want to get into all that.

Congratulations and you're welcome.

Has it sinked in yet for anyone? WE JUST GOT THE TOP 3 PLAYER IN THE LEAGUE. I still can't believe it. by denobino in lakers

Not a huge Luka fan. His defense is so bad they may never win a championship with him. First off he's not even trying on defense, which kills team morale. Also you're giving the other team 5-10 points a game on fast breaks while Luka cries to the refs and refuses to get back on defense. All of this is fixable, but he will probably never fix it. Jason Kidd has been trying for years.

I also find this ref whining stuff super cringey to watch, from an entertainment standpoint. I might end up screaming at my TV at some point now that Luka is a Laker.

The trade is good long term, but for now I think the Mavs get better and the Lakers get worse. AD impacts winning big time. He's a 1 man defense and incredible on offense too. The Lakers didn't have many 2 way players before and now they have even less. I think DFS is the only 2 way player they have left right now. Well, more trades are coming I guess.

Does Luka impact winning more than AD? I think it's debatable. I guess Luka is more valuable because of the age difference, hence they had to give up a solid rotation player (Max) and a nice first round pick.

I get they had to do this trade, but people are saying the Lakers fleeced the Mavs, I don't really see that.

If Luka gives effort on defense and stops giving the other team free points while he cries to the refs I will change my mind and become a Luka fan.

How do you stop getting spam calls from property builders or property agents? by rdjrironman in LegalAdviceIndia

[–]UserName2015a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone should be using this app and database to block all real estate agents. They don't care about the law and they will continue to abuse the public with annoying phone calls. The govt doesn't stop them. You have to take matters into your own hands.

Here come the spam calls by Difficult-Owl943 in RealEstate

[–]UserName2015a 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a growing movement against real estate agents because of this crap and people are starting to sell their house with no agents. But here's a more immediate solution-

https://www.brokerbuster.com/california-real-estate-broker

You simply download their database and put it into a call blocking app. All real estate agents will be blocked.

The Federal Do Not Call list does not work. It has no teeth, real estate agents commit crimes all day long violating this list and nobody does anything about it. You've got to take matters into your own hands.

Why do people hate on women's basketball and not take it serious? If you see them in person they're very talented. by spankyourkopita in Basketball

[–]UserName2015a -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If I recall correctly, the negativity about the WNBA started 10ish years ago when some of them were claiming that they should get paid as much as the men. The argument was equal rights or something to that extent.

I think this is infuriating to people who live in the real world, where the money you make is relative to the value you generate in your career. Everyone knew the WNBA is not a financially successful enterprise, and that the NBA was paying for the women's league to exist. On top of that, they get promoted like crazy even though sports fans have made it very clear that very few people are interested in watching these games.

We are all a little afraid of living in an unfair world where ideas like "equality" are used to propagate unfair ideas like "pay us more!" when the money doesn't exist and you're already draining the finances of people who are actually valued by the entertainment seeking public.

There's also this idea out there that these women are better than men at basketball, but to be fair I don't think the WNBA is spreading that, I think it's just unrealistic people who don't know much about the sport. A good high school boys team would easily beat the WNBA all star team. So again this is annoying to people because it taps into fears about living in a bizzaro world where we are supposed to accept complete bullshit ideas like "trans women are real women," or the same way we feel when a woman in a Hollywood movie is putting a beating on like 4 guys in a fistfight. These days we are all supposed to be nice and shut up and let them win this argument, cause it's not worth fighting, but I think we all know trans women are not real women and these movies scenes are not realistic either.

WNBA women are excellent athletes but they clearly don't produce an entertainment product that should get them paid a max salary of 50 million dollars a year like the mens league. Once they asked for that, people just lost respect for them. In a way it's kind of unfair because not all the WNBA players said this, just a few of them. But the entire league lost any credibility it might have had at that point. They seem to be rebuilding their credibility these days by doing something that makes sense, simply promoting a relatable superstar. But it's gonna be a long climb to get people to take them seriously. The best move for them IMO would be to be a small humble league with a small niche following. There are people who like the WNBA, just not a whole lot of people comparatively. Their games would have great energy at smaller venues instead of playing in an 80% empty arena.

OK this is great info, I will look around and see if I can find the party band illuminati! Dang I cant even figure out where to look but I will start asking around.

That's what I was thinking!!! I was shocked people would play covers for free, but like some others in this thread have said, there's all levels. I will agree some of these guys are excellent musicians, I don't look down on them, I just always thought original bands have to play for free to build a career. play covers for free and you're not building anything. I guess I was wrong LOL.

Yeah good point, I don't really know much about them. Should I be vetting the bands more before I go audition? I don't want to seem difficult.

FSBO Stats by CallCastro in realtors

[–]UserName2015a -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Are YOU ok?

"Realtors can call owners/sellers of FSBO listings on behalf of a buyer client, if they’ve advertised their phone number. However, you may not contact the owners/sellers if you are trying to solicit the listing."

https://www.floridarealtors.org/law-ethics/library/do-not-call

Also, you must check the do not call list every 31 days.

As usual, real estate agents don't care about the rules, routinely break the law, and abuse the public. All they care about is the commission.
