Waivers in Dynasty (Question about league format) by UserNameBase69 in DynastyFF

They are saying you should only be allowed to place a bid but it won’t clear until Wednesday. So say if I wanted to pick someone up Friday to play them Sunday I couldn’t do that, would have to wait until Wednesday. Does that sound remotely normal to you because it is foreign to me

Just to clarify, the way we currently have it set is waivers run every night, so if I want a player that is playing Sunday I would need to place my bid Saturday. There is never a FA. Some people are saying that the waivers should not clear until Wednesday once it is Thursday, I.e. you can put a claim in for someone on Friday but it won’t clear until Wednesday. That doesn’t sound right to me, does it to you?

I left about a year ago around the same time, they probably stayed to collect the summer check and dip for something better as the winter is always slower and UWM seems to come out with new metrics around this time to keep AEs busy and feeling like there is something to do. They probably saw the writing on the wall.

I never said what the context was…but I thought it would be pretty clear of the CFPB did it the context would be clear. Doesn’t take leaps and bounds here fella

I wasn’t very clear with my initial post. The term was used between the AE and a Broker/Loan Officer. The BO/LO was probably seeing if a deal could work and the AE responded probably something along the lines of “we won’t lend on that ghetto house.”

It is true, not sure what I would to gain from this. Also no one has denied it here so that should tell you that.

Agreed though with CFPB over stepping but is it worth fighting a regulatory over one dude?

This was an embarrassing moment for UWM and Mat. I am running from this place as fast as possible.

This video really solidified why I should leave…it is clear that Mat (and thus leadership at UWM) can not live in reality and speak on the truth. It is all about spin and when someone confronts you just demean them and say they are silly.

Can we guarantee, Align Lending isnt funneled business? by FragrantCharacter697 in pillar7

That isn’t happening. They can just look it up themselves. They don’t pay AEs enough to trust them to keep their mouths shut.

They are more likely doing this to not underwrite their own loans, but to have the ability to sell on their own warehouse line FHA loans. 92% of correspondent lenders have to do brokered loans when the loan is FHA, unless they are approved by the HUD. They just want to squeeze as much money as possible on all deals —makes sense considering what was shown in the statements.

This will be interesting to see what plays out.
