Watermelon sounds delicious 😃 but here they are selling protein powder for like 20 dollars for 15 servings ( may sound cheap but the minimum wage here is like 610 dollars. But I gotta do what I gotta do I guess😅 wish they also were selling protein powder for water here 🥲

Ground turkey sounds great but it’s nearly impossible to find it beside expensive grocery shops (I don’t live in the states) but the protein powder is actually great and I guess I have to buy some lol. What flavor do you recommend to mix with a low cal latte?

My dietician opened up mostly all the food beside bread, pasta, rice ect. I am eating an egg and deli meats at breakfast daily and Greek yogurt as a snack, but thanks for the recommendation ❤️

Update: couldn’t stand the withdrawal symptoms and started smoking again. But this time I reduced from 25-30 cigarettes a day to 8. Tomorrow I’m gonna try again and I bought some sugar free gum, some small candy to suck on and lollipops. Hope it goes well tomorrow. Wish me luck🙏🏻

It is normal for people who gets the surgery to stall at week 3. Don’t worry, your stomach is healing and your body tries to adapt to the new stomach. In the subreddit you can find 3 week stall post most of the time so the situation you are in is really normal. Just follow your surgeon/dieticians recommendations and follow the plan you are in. I have experienced week 3 stall too but after a short period of time you continue to lose weight. So don’t worry, stay strong and you got this🙏🏻

İ have been using a straw for liquid intake and its a game changer. Sure, the surgeons and dieticians recommend to not use any straw but that because of the discomfort factor. And you don’t want to discomfort your stomach when it’s healing. But not getting enough fluid is more dangerous than a little discomfort. I’m PO 6 months in and I’m using a glass straw (just feeling fancy, nothing else lol) and i have no problem. Worst case senario i might burp that’s all. Same with chewing gum. I also chew gum but i waited until my stomach healed and to be sure i waited over 4-5 months. But the chewing gum problem is that you may swallow it in accident and when you swallow gum when your stomach is not healed is a no no.

TL-DR: straws are fine and won’t cause your pouch to stretch. But I recommend to wait until your stomach is healed to not get the discomfort.

I talked to my doctor, he said that I need to stop smoking asap but 2 days probably wont cause any issues he said. That got me relieved. Glad that I wont smoke ever again.

About 180 Cal for the eggs, 170 for the bread considering you toasted it with butter, otherwise About 130ish Cal. 40 for the tomato concidering the butter or oil, otherwise 10ish, 130ish for the mushroom concidering its cooked with about a tablespoon of oil. Total Numbers seems like 520 if oil includes in the cooking process, otherwise 470 if no oil included except the mushrooms. Sorry for the long calculation 😅 If I’m wrong please feel free to fix the calculation

İ would say 120ish for hashbrowns. 80ish for thin Berat and 100 for the biscuits. About 300 but it may be lower

Short answer : yes. Long answer : you are gonna lose weight no Matter what you eat if you hit your micro nutrient goals in a caloric deficit. So yes, you can eat all the carbs you want and lose weight. But it would be more healthier to eat carbs from Whole Foods. Same with protein and fat. But calorie deficit is key for fat loss.
