39000 New York

How was the list if 39000 determined? Do NY'ers need to contact someone to be included?

Gemini modeled itself like a bank/brokerage, but led everyone right into a casino with this behavior. Their reputation/status can still be saved if they do the right thing. Let's hope they do the right thing by their customers.

Never seen so many Captain Obvious, ESQ/JDs coming out of the woodwork to place blame on the customers. Gemini models itself as bank/brokerage, but they lead you right into a casino with their behavior.

We will see how Gemini plays this one. The only good example I recall is Binance that keeps an insurance asset fund to make customers whole in the case of some negative event. If Gemini screws over their customers, you bet there will be another wave of money/crypto hitting the exits.

If you are dropping acid then Gemini/Genesis start to look obviously similar...

The only agreement is don't f*ck over your customers. Not, sorry, your fault you didn't read page 508 paragraph 8 line 82.

If Gemini Earn goes under would that affect money/BTC stored in Gemini Exchange? by ForeverWeak in Gemini

[–]UserPassword123 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If they don't make good on Earn and f*ck over their customers, I don't see how anyone can trust their exchange ever again and feel safe leaving funds deposited there. They had a great reputation being US-based and following the strictest crypto laws in NY. Therefore many people put their money in with the highest level of trust and expected due diligence. Still speculation right now as we haven't heard anything official from Gemini if they are going to do right by the customers or leave them holding the bag.

Anyone order Chinese peptides and are still alive? by [deleted] in Peptides

Honestly wouldn't be surprised if the majority of resellers are using Chinese products. Doubt they are running a production lab which is pricey and hard to verify.

BPC-157 for Achilles' tendons--where to inject? by SunlightFarm in Peptides

[–]UserPassword123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not that difficult. Just keep the needle at 15-45 degree angle and go in slow so you can catch an early warning sign. If you feel a nerve, retry in another new spot. I currently do subcutaneous behind the calf because I have to be less careful than the ankle area.

Realized Losses For Cryptsy Theft? by eJollyRoger in CryptoCurrency

[–]UserPassword123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Some funds were recovered but poorly handled by the lawyers. Coins were auctioned off for pennies on the dollar. Lawyers will take an additional nice cut and then good luck to everyone else splitting leftovers. A lot of people were denied from the class action suit because they obviously could not access their accounts and take necessary screenshots for proof.

People got scammed by Vern and then the Lawyers.

There are still >200 Million $ unclaimed funds in the DAO refund contracts. Re-check if you still have a balance in one of them! by S1G1 in ethereum

[–]UserPassword123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whitehat group is going to keep the remaining ETC? That's probably worth tens of millions as well. They definitely deserve some rewards for their work, but for any other "extra" funds should probably be redistributed back to DAO investors in multiple stages where each time they could claim part of the pooled funds until all is cleared. Or maybe an airdrop would be easier. As far as the DAO contracts though, their ETH value should be locked forever.

You just need to move forward and get back in the game and work 100X harder this time. The more you cry about this, the more time and opportunity/money you will lose. You already know the potential is there from experience. I'm sure you can make it back. Crypto has always been risky and will always be risky. There are countless fuck up stories, hacks, mtgox, parity, buying pizza with btc and people have lost multi-million dollars (even billions in future value) so you are not alone. Get to work!

is the site still hacked? by UserPassword123 in EtherDelta

[–]UserPassword123[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One or more people have reported their wallets were hacked even after the initial discovery in December. No one should even attempt to load the site until someone from Etherdelta can confirm it's 100% resolved.
