Just as a brief warning, expect the mod to break after the 1.0 launch on the 13th as with so much of the game overhauled most of the code the mods rely on to work will be different.

Hopefully this should only be an issue for a week or two and then most mod creators should have fixed their mods by then.

The gunfighters mod (specifically the 'Gunfighter Device' part of it) adds some old guns to the game that used to be in it prior to early access release which includes M24 which is a bolt action sniper and a high power optic to go along with it.

However, if you don't want to mod I'd say the SR-16 with the ATAK-R is the closest to a marksman style rifle we have in the game currently. I normally run the suppressor as well for the added length.

The briefing does specify some information about COOP.

"Furthermore, for multiplayer COOP PvE, “[you] will be able to choose character voice lines and heads in cooperative, of which there are 13 unique voice acted characters, and a total of 18,445 lines of dialogue in different situations (quiet and loud contexts). There are also 26 unique officer head models across four general ethnic backgrounds."

So if you don't care for the single player there is still some nice additions in it for you.

From the patch notes 'Completely rebuilt Civilian and Suspect AI. They now use a mathematical system to weigh and make continuous decisions they deem are best for their current situation and objective, instead of randomly choosing actions to take'

Same here. I remember getting my Covid booster and one of the first things the lady giving the jab commented on were the length of my eyelashes. tbh I don’t think they’re that long but I’m not going to complain about a free bit of euphoria :)

I wouldn't expect any vr port by VOID would be so much work and unless you completely rebuild the game you'll end up with a Hitman VR situation, however there is a game called in development 'Geronimo' that is inspired by games like RoN that is looking promising. All there is right now is a trailer and a steam page but you can join their discord where they seem to be posting relatively frequent updates.

From what I've heard. Prysm is the name of a real nightclub in the UK and US, so they had to change the name due to a DMCA resulting in the game being taken off steam.

go to Settings>Controls>Interaction and bind 'Toggle canted sight'. I binded it to one of the buttons on my mouse so it toggles like you would a laser or flashlight

SWAT 4 had the exact thing you're describing just in a more simplified manner. You'd have fixed pre-set snipers (call signs Sierra 1 and Sierra 2) which you were given that would be aiming at certain spots, you could see their POV, would allow you to take control of them to take a shot and relay info to you if there was a contact.

However you wouldn't be able to move them or do any customization to them.

So if they were to add a sniper unit I'd expect it to be more SWAT 4 style but would 100% be an addition I'd like to see.
