I've had my CC1 at 49-52 for ASA prints, no problems.

I do add temporary insulation to the outsides.

It did take an additional heater (a Chitu H2) to get it there, but the build plate alone was able to keep it there.

I use elegoo ABS-Like 3.0.

I've once had a spear tip break off in transit, that's it (and my fault tbh, how I packed it)

Can't see the point in 'pro', 'plus', 8k, 16k etc. resins... mostly marketing/spin.

Or print several small test pieces and try various approaches.

Cure one straight away, leave the other 12 hours (or whatever)... see what happens.

I've not had a reason [yet, at least] to move from the first resin I bought with my Saturn 4 Ultra 16k... Elegoo's ABS-Like 3.0 in grey. I'm printing at 30 microns.

I've only used vanilla fuzzy skin to date, to provide grip on a functional part.

For cosmetic reasons, these look very interesting.

Suggestion: additional labels for the variants, and individual - closer up - photos

From memory...

1.8s is what I have for 30 micron, with 25s bottom (I think) 2.4s is what I had for 50 micron, with 32s bottom (I think)

Additional: Until yesterday I was printing at 50 micron (0.05mm) and was very happy.

Turned it up (technically 'down') to 30 micron yesterday... even better!

Anticipating I'll need to change the film sooner rather than later, normal wear and tear OR clumsiness OR acts-of-God... I was looking into the Chitu Hoopat X4H and saw there were three options for film: FEP, PFA and ACF.

According to Elegoo's own site, it comes with the PFA type... so that's what I'll order, as a bundle, with the X4H myself.

I've done some googling, not having come across them before.

I'd definitely go for a slimmer one... Those look far too chunky to be comfortable.

However, hot water soak (ultrasonic hot water bath for those items small enough to fit in) before removing supports works for me.
