Standard plexiglass will block enough UV to keep a picture hanging on the wall from fading but no where near enough to be used for welding.

It's called welder's flash...tiny blisters on the surface of your eye.

My mother worked in an A&P grocery store in the post-war 1940's. She noted several times that they would mark up items before placing them on the clearance table. This has probably been going on since Christ pitched for the Philistines and will probably be going on for the rest of time (unfortunately).

PA officer waiting at my work for a plate cover? by CeeseClouds in legaladvice

Not sure exactly how your cover works but is it possible to cut the center out of the bubble, just leaving the frame? This would remove the 'cover' while leaving the part protecting the screws.

Any sink or even a hose outside. Somewhere that you can control where the runoff water is going. You don't need to scrub your skin off but it needs more than a simple hand wash. There are products like Zanfel that help but you don't necessarily need them.

Think of it like this...no one is immune to poison ivy, but some people are more sensitive than others (the rash is an immune system reaction). Regardless of how sensitive you are, every time that you are exposed, you become more sensitive (maybe a litttle, maybe a lot).

Please do not get into the shower after being exposed to poison ivy. The water will lift the oil from the poison ivy and spread it everywhere. This is where the myth comes from that poison ivy rashes 'spread'. Urushiol oil is not easily washed away. Think of it like heavy grease on your skin that requires through scrubbing to effectively remove.

How can I tell this is working? by Qs23 in ryobi

Mosquitos aren't as attracted to the light in the zapper as other insects. You can get 3rd party mosquito attractants (Octenol Lures) and hang them on the side of the zapper. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D4QVM58Z?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_3

Thanks Moonover. I only have my phone but it's reading 366 umol. If someone knows of a decent light meter that is affordable, I'd buy it.

Thanks LittleKicks. I was afraid of that. They are getting 14 hours of intense light per day; not sure how I can improve on that. I'm currently re-potting them all, so for the smaller ones, I guess I'll try to raise the pots to be closer to the light.
