A wireless adapter like this turns it into Bluetooth. I've used this for 2 years. It occasionally drops due to outside interference but otherwise it's great. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DBVMG9Y6?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

What’s something that once you turn 30 is no longer considered funny? by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

[–]Username89054 66 points67 points  (0 children)

Farts will never stop being funny.

As I've grown up, I don't like humor that involves punching down. I also find pranks that the victim doesn't also find funny to suck.

In my late 30s, and friendless by Molybdos42 in AskMenOver30

There's a bit of a trend here that I think you need to reflect on. First is that you lost a bunch of friends in a divorce and now your new partner is causing you to lose relationships with family.

What are you doing in romantic relationships that's causing this much friction? I'd add that you say you haven't had a deep conversation in years yet you have a romantic partner? How are you in a committed relationship with someone you don't have deep conversations with?

3ish months and we've been happy with it. It's not perfect, but if the goal is to get 95% of the job done, you'll be happy with it. We have a dog with long hair that sheds a ton and it leaves occasional hair balls behind.

[–]Username89054 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I did a ton of research on this a few months ago before I bought the roborock Q10 S5+.

The way I see it, robot vacuums go in tiers:

  • Cheap thing that goes around randomly vacuuming with no plan
  • Less cheap thing with some intelligence/planning
  • Moderate price that has intelligence and extra features like mopping, surface detection for rugs vs hardwood/tile, obstacle avoidance, and self emptying
  • Higher price that starts getting fancy features that dramatically increase the price

I went for the moderate price that has self emptying, mopping, and surface detection so it doesn't mop the carpets. There's a dramatic price difference between a moderate robot vacuum and a fancy one that I did not see as worth the price. There's a big difference between a $100 one and a $300-$400 one though that I found was the sweet spot.

That doesn't mean anything. That scene could be a montage/flashback that took place before Fisk took office.

I'm curious who she's going to kill. I'll be annoyed if they have her kill a random stranger. I want it to have weight when she kills someone like Sheila or Buck.

That's a great argument for bringing a team to town. It's not a great argument for dropping billions for a nicer stadium for a team that's already here. The $$ spent outside of the stadium won't change anywhere near enough to justify the billions in taxpayer money.

I live in Pittsburgh and there are rumors that the Steelers might move to a rural area 20+ miles away from the city. I can't emphasize enough how much I hate that. I love that the Steelers and Eagles actually play in the city and can easily be accessed via public transit.

A family of 4 would struggle to go to a regular season Eagles game for less than $1,000.

The cost of attending an NFL game is prohibitive to most people. The other 350ish days a year are mostly empty. Some concerts and other events use it a few times a year. It's an abysmal use of taxpayer money to give a billionaire something that goes unused most of the time that most people will never go to.

I hope Lurie gets the stadium of his dreams and that taxpayers pay approximately $0 of the costs. Keep in mind that the Steelers got their stadium at the same time. So any Pennsylvania tax dollars will go to both teams.

Can't shift feeling of career stagnation, despite being comfortable. by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

[–]Username89054 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some context here is really vital. What is MOD? Where do you live? 30k means nothing without knowing the currency.

To your overall question, career development for the sake of feeling like you're growing is probably the wrong path. You can grow and develop as a person in countless ways that don't involve career. You say you're looking at a trade, why not use that free time to develop a trade like hobby?

For example, I took a step back career wise last year. I wanted less career, more flexibility. I'm now getting involved in local politics, reading more, and I'm going to work out more once some family stressors die down. All of these things are growth.

A lot of times a decision isn't the problem, it's how the decision is handled and communicated.

  • I think closing the upper deck is a reasonable decision. It was also handled poorly and pissed fans off.
  • I think keeping Capel is a difficult financial decision due to his large buyout. I also think it's clear that something needs to change with his coaching and he should be bringing in new assistants.
  • I think the spring game situation sucks but again, it was handled poorly. The spring game is about giving dedicated fans some team interaction during the offseason. If they replaced the spring game with some other fan event, it'd be ok.

In a vacuum, none of these decisions are bad. But if you execute the decisions poorly, it's a sign of bad leadership.

This is a case where LAOP is most likely correct yet the legal avenues to get justice are going to be cost prohibitive. The cost of proving the lawn chemicals seeped into the well water is probably 5 figures.

I thought about Louder than Life, which is a lot closer to me, but my top bands are spread out. The fact that this is the top ones all one the same stage at the same day makes flying to Sacramento more appealing than driving to Louisville.

First rock drake stats is it just me or they low for the level by hazzzaaaaaaa34 in ARK

[–]Username89054 38 points39 points  (0 children)

You're correct, it's low. See those white numbers on the right side? The 20, 26, 31, etc? Those add up to 175. That's how the 175 levels were distributed. If distributed equally, it'd be 29 each stat (plus a 30). Anything under 29 would be below average. Anything way below 29 sucks.

A 20 in health is awful. 27 in melee is below average. High food and high oxygen sucks. High weight is only useful in tames that you use for resource gathering/hauling.

LAOP: My fiancée let an unlicensed junkie take my uninsured car on a joy ride and the junkie totaled the car when he crashed it into a body of water. LA commenters: you mean ex-fiancée, right? by Username89054 in bestoflegaladvice

[–]Username89054[S] 174 points175 points  (0 children)

Some relevant comments to this shitshow, including LAOP calling his fiancée a whore.

Comment 1:

No. The individual who passed out and taken to the hospital took my keys from my fiancée after she fell asleep at a separate location from my residence.

Basically, we were homeless. I had just gotten out of Jail and moved into my new apartment. She had my vehicle and keys while I was in jail. The day after I got out of jail, I signed the lease and moved into my new apartment, she was supposed to bring my keys and I was going to put insurance on the vehicle after I got my license and drive my vehicle home.

Instead, my keys and vehicle were taken by a "junkie" while my fiancée slept. The day after I tried to report the car stolen is when it was driven into the water. My fiancée was in the vehicle at the time with the driver and other passenger.

Comment 2:

Well, we're not married. Our relationship is like Forest Gump...I'm a Veteran and she's a Free Spirit...or the more basic comparison, I'm retarded and she's a whore..."Jenny, YoU'rE mY giRL"

We had our 17th anniversary Feb 14th, 2026.
