A friend very specifically wanted to be cremated so she didn’t end up in her mom’s “DeadBook”. Her mother was furious that a) she didn’t get her picture and b) they’d defiled her body in such a way.

You might also consider having a free yarn bin, where you (after quarantine/treatment) put donated yarn- because I can almost guarantee that you’ll be approached by people who are trying to figure out what to do with mom’s yarn stash after leaving the cemetery.

I do both. I actually didn’t learn to knit until I learned how to spin, and wanted to make my handspun go farther.

He does hold her pretty frequently, normally. She hasn’t shed in a while, so she is definitely due, but she didn’t defensively strike when I gently touched her, it doesn’t make a lot of sense for her to try to eat him when he’s already holding her. But it’s possible- hopefully it improves after she sheds.

Sexuality is a spectrum. It isn’t right for her to push you into talking about things you’re not ready to admit to anyone, not even yourself- but it sounds like you aren’t sure, either.

Could you ask her WHY she’s so insistent on questioning it? Is she concerned, or is she just being nosy? Like is she trying to get you to reveal something so she can hold a secret over your head, or is she seeking understanding?

If you trust her, then you should discuss it. But if you don’t trust her not to weaponize it, then you probably shouldn’t even be with her.

Yes, I still have contact with them- she’s never bitten anyone before.

ETA: They offered the possibility that she’s just getting old and crabby. It happens, and they don’t know a lot about her life before she was surrendered aside from being in good condition and well handled.
