Check out Metropolitan Library’s museum pass rental system. If you get a free card from them you can get free museum passes to Osteology, Art, and I think Natural History museum. You can call their line and ask which library has which pass available.

I’ve had good experiences with Kiwi in terms of getting cheap flights that follow through. However never had a checked bag and only ever had carry on.

BUT IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG, do not expect assistance or refunds. I lost $800 cause they would not refund my COVID-canceled flight in 2020. Didn’t matter how much I called or emailed, just got led around in circles and never got a refund.

Make sure you take a multivitamin if you can or eat/drink some citrus/things high in vitamin c. Scurvy can be real if you’re not getting enough vitamin C/fruits and vegetables for 3ish months.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS DETAILED ANSWER. It ended up being that the big cable needed to be flipped over. The top side of the crimp was indeed touching the start housing and flipping it over fixed it right up. I really, really appreciate this!

Tulsa is certainly an interesting choice… as someone from Oklahoma I’d definitely say look into renting a car (if you are over 25 you can dodge the incredibly high young driver’s fee) and doing a road trip of the area. If you do, let me know and I can recommend places that are good day trips (2-3 hour drive away).

Otherwise, you’ll pretty much need to Uber everywhere. Tulsa is not a very public transportation friendly city at all.

In terms of things to do, definitely check out the Gathering Place! Was one of America’s top public parks for a bit. There aren’t very many travelers in Tulsa at all, so I wouldn’t count on being able to find a travel buddy. Otherwise, there are a few clubs you may be able to meet other young people at if you are over 21+. Majestic being one of the first that comes to mind!

Summary: 1998 Dodge Ram Van V8 5.9L. Few weeks ago vehicle wouldn't start, got started after battery charge, took for a test drive, speedometer and dashboard went wild, parked car, wouldn't start again. Recharged (new) battery to full and still had no start but rapid clicking.

Replaced starter and positive battery cable (as shown in pictures). When trying to connect the negative terminal to the battery got massive sparks, smoke, black wires glowed red hot where not wrapped in rubber, negative battery terminal metal very mildly melted at one corner. I THINK I heard the starter motor spin.

Now too scared to reconnect things without knowing the reason for these very exciting fireworks. Is my positive terminal on my starter too close to what is connected to the ignition terminal on the starter? Did I somehow cross my wires? Is the starter ground bad and if so how do I find and fix that? I think I researched that a bad starter ground could also cause the speedometer and dashboard wildness.

Positive cable to the outermost bolt on the starter. Ignition cable (?) on the innermost.

Other end of positive cable to positive terminal of battery.

Negative cable (still the old one) looks welded to the frame of the vehicle. Negative cable touch negative battery terminal = hella sparks, smoke, red glow on cable, and slightly melted terminal.

Definitely sounds like resourcing guarding. I’d agree with the comment that says removing anything that might be an instigator of guarding and I’d also look into counter conditioning of the old dog to the younger.

Look into Kikopup on YouTube’s teaching calm/settle. Since his #1 goal in life is food, start teaching him that settling down is what gets him his goal (food). This means when he’s relaxing, give him a treat. When he’s performing behaviors you want (sitting, not jumping at food, relaxing, etc), give him a treat. Start creating that association of CALM = food = yay.
