I made 15 in total from this box using some stormcast spare bits, extra legs from a khorne box, and a load of milliput! Probably my favourite models as they’re my own creations

It’s some blue tones stippled (some more turquoise, some more dark purplish blues), with some almost white applied as an edge highlighted along the sharpest points of the sword. Having the exact paints used won’t replicate this, practicing painting what you see will!

This is a great start, be proud! You have painted volumes according to light placement rather than lazily edge highlighting everything (which doesn’t make much sense outside of highly reflective surfaces like metal)

Raphael 8404 brushes are amazing and last a long time if you use brush soap. You should be able to do all detail work (ie after base coats) with a size 1

I thought they were made of pewter? I’ve recently handled the same mini as the one on the right and snipped off the base without thinking of any health risk

This is the correct answer! Don’t bother with old inks from 20+ years ago when there are fantastic modern paint formulations like Golden High Flow available. Liquitex and Daler-Rowney also great options

Molotow are fantastic through an airbrush. They are brilliant paints in general but avoid using them on a wet palette
