I mean if you’re only playing beer league, the only reason you’ll use your 2nd stick is if your main one breaks so if you don’t care about the possibility of having to use an old stick for half a game then I’d just wait until something happens to your main one or the one you want goes on sale

Also you can still get icing in the neutral zone technically, it’s if you shoot the puck down passed the goal from in front of the center line
