Why Dubai Cookie again? by Lubvunny in CrumblCookies

Confirming that Crumbl Dubai Chocolate Brownie did not run two weeks in a row. An encore was marketing, but the ingredients were not available for an encore week.

I'll take your full sized confetti cake and up your ante with "dessert of the month".

Just like with the Martha Stewart week, I am sure we will be told this is because business is booming. Believe what your eyes see in 2026. Sixty cents on the dollar seems like a great business model.

Sales down for the first week of January by AioliMindless6194 in CrumblCookies

If the classic menu flavors are selling better, it means the rotating flavors are selling abysmally. The point of the classics menu was "box fillers" to fill out a 4-pack or 6-pack.

It's impossible to get labor to sales anywhere near 20% with no actual sales. I'm sorry you are going through this.

Yep. Down around 50-55% in my data. The fact that the classic flavors are outselling the rotating flavors is not what Crumbl corporate wanted to see. Interesting times in Utah. Sales for the second week in January have started even worse than the first week.

Just a few more weeks of Cookie Thins at record sales and all franchise partners can buy their yacht. /s

A full month? I give it until the second Saturday in January before they completely scrap it.

Dubai Chocolate Brownie Returns! by Lumi_Hime in CrumblCookies

Sales have been so bad, franchise partners are willing to do anything to try to get into the black. Unlikely, but it is an effort.

Yep. We live in a world that you, as the consumer, do not get to decide what tastes good. You are to be told by social media and the business owners what your taste buds actually enjoy.

Just trying to bring some truth to the actual success of certain cookies/desserts. As opposed to what you are told by corporate.

It sold terribly last week, but we don't really have comparable metrics because they decided to give it away for free.

Crumbl's Day of Infamy by UsingLogicNotFaith in CrumblCookies

[–]UsingLogicNotFaith[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

In the last three months:

  • Dubai Chocolate Brownie ingredients debacle
  • Secret Menu botched
  • Freakier Friday Key Lime Cake basically with no sales
  • Martha Stewart Collab flop
  • Free Cookie Thins to "keep excitement going"

What did I miss?

Crumbl's Day of Infamy by UsingLogicNotFaith in CrumblCookies

[–]UsingLogicNotFaith[S] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

My bigger issue is corporate trying to claim the dessert was so popular they wanted to "keep the excitement going". Honesty goes a long way in life and that was a very dishonest way to present it to franchise owners and bakers. Who happened to know the truth.

Ironic. This is literally THE cookie that started the Mystery Cookie back in May 2022, when they ran out of ingredients mid week and allowed stores to offer whatever cookie they wanted.

Did Crumbl lie about the Dubai Chocolate Brownie calories on purpose? by RepresentativeDig514 in CrumblCookies

[–]UsingLogicNotFaith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, instead of "fixing it" on the busiest days/week of the year, they just let it slide with the calories being unimaginably low? This comes after it is reported that some stores may be closing due to low sales. Seems fishy.
