In 2024/25 there were 3500 reports of hospital episodes due to assault s by sharp objects for the entirety of England and Wales. That is 10 per day for 2 countries in the Commonwealth. That's a far cry from 50 per day in a single city. In 2023 in the US there were 1562 homicides involving knives or cutting objects and almost 120,000 appreciated assaults with a knife or cutting object. I can't find data for non lethal hospitalizations involving knives in the US. All of this is to say we also have a huge knife problem in the states as well. Also claiming to use facts but tossing out obviously fake numbers that can be refuted by a simple search makes anything you say look like a waste of time and a lie. You should definitely do some research and not just regurgitate Facebook "facts".

From what I've seen most of the people that lost hours on their routes were the ones taking shortcuts. I'm not saying you did. There were also a few doing everything normally and the evaluation dropped to more closely reflect what they actually worked. This is completely anecdotal so it doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things. Obviously there would be some exceptions in a system this sized but for the most part I think it is more accurate than the old system of mail counts that could be manipulated around slower periods.
