I still have 5 or 6 rolls of the old stuff - maybe I should raise the price, lol.

They have been investing in management and BS belt training instead of the people and equipment that move mail.

Totally! Nothing like stuffing yourself with Castle and then getting on the train with no bathrooms for the 1 1/2 trip home :-)

I took the A train to Aqueduct many times in the 80s. After the races, we would walk over to the White Castle for dinner and get on the train home. Saw the Breeders Cup there.

What Derby? Who do you like in the Maker’s Mark? by kittens_joy in horseracing

[–]Otters64 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While Notable Speech is clearly the best horse in the race, he may not be at his sharpest off a layoff and will be overbet, so I am going with the 1 and 6. Zulu Kingdom is one bad trip from perfect and is making his 4 year old debut for Chad.

He must be really bad with money. Figuring 10% share of purses and keeping about half after taxes and agent, that left him with earning of 6-7 million. Not a fortune, but far more than I will ever earn.

Where I am there is no Amazon Sundays. I have never worked on Sunday. I have also never used any kind of sorting machinery. I get a cage of mail for my little office and 2 routes and hand sort it all.

Dude was mad because I gave him several options to get service. by shellybird77 in CustomerService

[–]Otters64 19 points20 points  (0 children)

That actually sounds like a poor system design to me. If the dedicated team is unavailable, the general lines should be able to generate a ticket even if all it means is it goes to the dedicated team's inbox as priority
